chapter 1- the games are announced

One day, Bella Swan, Katniss Everdeen, Hermione Granger and Elena Gilbert were getting on with school work. Hermione and Bella were the brainiest two out of the group so helped the others. All of a sudden, the tannoy in the school beeped. Everyone in the school knew what this meant, there was going to be an announcement. However, no-one knew what this could be about, especially in the middle of the day! The Secretary in the office suddenly spoke after a long pause: "There is to be a series of games to see what is the most superior: magic, werewolves, vampires or destiny. Destiny has been included to include the people who are higher than the rest of you." After this announcement, the school went quiet. The four girls got up, left the library and went outside to their respective boyfriends to see if they had heard the announcement too. It appeared that they all had heard the announcement as did all their friends and their ex-boyfriends in some circumstances.
