"Morning."

Maya jolted at the words as she escaped from the tent. Kei sat by the burnt wood, staring at it as he held a thermos. She turned towards him with a faint smile.

"And Happy rising of the sun to you as well." She said pointing her finger at him. Her bottom lip caught between her teeth as she chewed at the awkwardness. "I'll uh, I'll be right back." She finished before running off.

Kei let the thermos fall from his hand is it was now empty from the coffee he had made, his hands ran over his face, then stopping at his mouth as his eyes darted around in hope of an idea will pop into his head.

Maya was as of now in a lake, her makeshift clothes off her body as she sat in the shallow water, her tail swayed the water, soothing the scratches on her lower and mid back.

"I wish he hadn't of said that-" she whispered to herself, throwing the water over her head. "Everything was fine..." she let the water run over her eyes. "Now I don't know what to do." She grumbled to herself, setting the palms of her hands over both her eyes.

She looked at her reflection through the water, her hand splashed in the water, throwing it away as her reflection disappeared.

Kei walked through the forest. Stepping over and under, his eyes spotted a lake, big enough to fish into. As he was getting ready to get to the body of water, he froze.

His eyes landing on a very familiar head of brown and blonde locks. He stopped and stared as she stood up, she turned around, and shook her head, the shaking going down her body ending with her tail, throwing the water on her body off.

He couldn't look away as she crouched down to grab her clothes, slipping them over her body. He gulped as a thin layer of sweat formed on his back at the thought of getting caught. She slipped on her tattered shorts, not getting her tail caught as she moved it around, again trying to dry it off.

She stepped towards a nearby tree in front of her, taking a glance at her nails, she set them on a tree before she dragged them down the bark, leaving the marks a bright yellow.

Doing this to both hands equally for a bit of time, feeling satisfied with the sharpness of her claws, she turned and started making her way back to the camp area. She looked up from her hands and meeting deep amber eyes.

She froze staring into his widened and glossy eyes. He gulped as she stared back at him.

"Did you...watch me-"

"Nope, no, nu uh- I just got here, to get you, so we can go." He stated putting his hands behind his back. Maya's ear twitched in irritation to him cutting her off. "So uh, let's go catch some food-" he cut himself off quickly before walking towards her.

Maya watched as he walked past her, a lewd smell hit her nose as he passed, she gave a smirk at the male before turning around and following after him.
