It was a slow shift, only a few people inside. They were going to close soon, so Gena was cleaning the machines, whilst Ross stood sweeping. Jackson and Zane were sharing a McShook like the gay kids they were, and Erik was attempting to eat a cheeseburger whole.
"So, have you noticed how the author has completely forgotten about this book?" Ross asked, looking over at Zane and Jackson.
"Eh, he's forgotten a lot of things. At least we got a break."
"No we didn't, we've just been frozen for a bit."
"Oh."
He glanced up, noticing Spada the security cam, who hug down from the roof. A sign hung around his neck. 'Smile for the camera.'
"So, do you think he'll continue this book?"
"Maybe, but it'll probably take a bit, so we get to stay frozen for awhile."
"So?"
"Hopefully he'll get some stuff out for this soon. Just give him some time to get some less shitty ideas."
"We can do that."
"I'm sure he'll appreciate that."
