Chapter 12

Wonwoo went back to class, sighing. He was feeling something that he often never felt. He tried to shake off the feeling but he couldn't.

He decided to stay away from Mingyu. Maybe that way he can understand why was he feeling like this.

So Wonwoo stayed away from Mingyu. He would walk past Mingyu without saying anything. He didn't go to the rooftop in lunch cause he knew Mingyu would be there.

Wonwoo went to the library instead and he would stay there after school. Although he ignores Mingyu, everytime he sees him he feels butterflies in his stomach.

His heart starts to beat faster and his hands start to sweat. Wonwoo laid on his bed and thought about everything.

Wonwoo sighed, he couldn't get rid of this feeling he's having. He liked it but hated it as well. He still replayed the small scene of Mingyu kissing him. He got up and decided to call Soonyoung.

"Hey what's up?" Soonyoung said picking up the call.

"Soonyoung I have something to ask"

"What is it?"

"If I get butterflies in my stomach when I see someone, I start getting nervous, I feel happy to be with them, what does it mean?" Wonwoo asked.

Soonyoung kept quiet until he suddenly squealed.

"You like someone!!" Soonyoung said and Wonwoo froze.

"Who's that special person?" Soonyoung teased.

"No one I was just asking"

"Aw come on it's so obvious now!"

"I'll tell you next time okay? I got to go now" Wonwoo said.

"Alright bye~" Soonyoung said before Wonwoo ended the call.

It all finally made sense to Wonwoo. He liked Mingyu. Wonwoonm groaned and hit himself on the head.

He was an idiot for not noticing sooner.

Mingyu on the other hand was devastated when he realised Wonwoo was ignoring him.

Mingyu tried to say hello but Wonwoo would always ignore him. He tried to look for him in lunch but he couldn't find Wonwoo anywhere.

Mingyu sighed. He was slowly losing hope that Wonwoo would like him. He didn't know if he should even try to make Wonwoo like him. He was ignoring him already.

Wonwoo walked to his locker to find just a note, no candy. Wonwoo read the note.

Sorry I didn't give you candy today but I think I'll stop giving you candy and notes. I'm sorry but I just realised how dumb this is. I realised even if I gave you candy, you'll never know who am I. You won't like me, I know. I already understood I won't get you. I still love you but I have to move on.
But before I end this, I want you to know who I am. Who gave you these candies and notes. I'm Mingyu, your secret admirer. So hi hyung, I'm the one who gave these to you everyday in secret.

Wonwoo read the last sentence before slamming his locker shut. He quickly ran to find Mingyu.

He had to tell him. He had to before Mingyu finally gives up on him. He had to tell Mingyu, he liked him too.
