Yeah, this is unrelated to all of my writings, but I figure that there are people who post random facts about themselves from time to time.

Here we go!

1. My birthday is July 9, my sign is Cancer.

2. I don't like watching scary things. Some time ago, I was watching a video game clip of Batman when the Joker suddenly popped out nowhere, nearly causing me to scream in fright. Curiosity of Batman's original intent saying goodbye to Alfred, I watched said scene when it happened.

3. Our family has three dogs, and they tend to be a handful. Two of them are small and one is pretty big. I love my pups despite the fact that they're all spoiled! Especially this beautiful girl:

4. I like to listen to music that fits the mood whenever I write. When I'm stuck, I listen and sometimes, the lyrics are enough to get my hands itching to write.

5. I tend to be emotional. If I let anything get to me, I can cry for hours. Literally. I try my best to rein it in before I let it overpower me.

6. I love to read. Mostly, I enjoy reading The Dark Hunters series written by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Yes, these books are not for the faint of heart considering there's violence, sex, and people who have quite the innovative and colorful language. Oh, and there's that whole get revenge for your death, and then serve a goddess for centuries thing. However, there are loopholes to get out of that deal-mostly, romantic loopholes. XD

That reminds me, I still have a couple to read.

7. I stumble over my words at times. When I was a kid, I had trouble pronouncing my words, and had to go to a speech lab. The teacher was not very nice considering she told my parents that I was retarded.

8. When I was a kid, I didn't like sitting for long periods of time studying because I preferred to play outside or do something else. Thankfully, I am more tolerant to studying than I used to be, though there are times I struggle not to fall asleep. When that happens, I take a break or risk falling asleep if I'm writing.

9. Related to number 8, I used to be a poor note taker. In order to survive college, I had to learn how to write more content so I can review it heavily at a later date.

10. Speaking of writing, if I am using a pen and paper, I almost always write in cursive. You're probably wondering why I'd waste time writing in script form. Well, when I was 7, mom wasn't happy with me writing stuff by just printing the letters. No, she sat me down at the kitchen table and made me write in cursive for hours. And this was during summer vacation too!

I've become so used to writing in cursive that I just automatically start writing in it if I have an idea, need to write a note, anything. Strangely enough though, I did alter my own handwriting as I grew older because I didn't like how some of the letters were written. The rest of it I experimented with from time to time, so unless I think of another way to write, I doubt it's changing much.

So yeah, the only time I had to break this was when someone complained about my handwriting being too complicated. I had to struggle not to write in cursive because she couldn't read it.
