Joe's POV
Marcus had just announced to Alex and I that he was going away with Jim for the weekend.
Alex rolled her eyes and whispered "meetings".
I nodded then followed Marcus upstairs.
"Joe, I'm not too sure in leaving Alexis here by herself" he sat down on his bed.
I sat down beside him.
"I can check up on her everyday, and no doubt she will be over Zoe's everyday" I laughed.
I managed to convince Marcus that his sister, that was an adult, would be fine.
"It's just..."
"Alfie?"
Marcus nodded.
"He's scared me to the point I feel that he would seriously hurt her" he looked down.
I put my hand on his shoulder as I knew exactly what he was talking about.
"And I can't get into detail about what he did to you..."
"Come on Marc you're so much stronger than him" I stood up and so did he.
"You're right" he smiled as I helped him pack the rest of his case.
"You want me to take you to the airport?"
"Sure, that would be great!"
Marcus dragged the case downstairs as Alex was sitting at the table on her computer.
"Hey" her lips curled into a smile.
Marcus peeked around the corner and smiled.
"You coming?" Marcus said as he struggled to put is shoes on.
"Why do you have to go M?" Alex moaned.
"I told you, Joe. She's like a child" he rolled his eyes.
"Like you said earlier, meetings!" He checked his watch and raised his eyebrows.
"Come on, my flight leaves in an hour!"
Alex dragged her feet across the floor slowly to wind up Marcus.
"Alexis!" He ran towards her as she ran into the kitchen.
I decided to quickly vlog them arguing while chasing eachother.
"Siblings" I laughed then shut my camera down.
Finally getting in the car we raced to Jim's house.
I beeped the horn as Jim ran out with his bag over his shoulder.
"Hurry Jim!" Alex laughed as he panted while getting into the car.
"To the airport!" I say as loud I could.
Alexis had the aux cord, as she usually does and played christmas songs, seems as it was December.
"Alex!" We all moaned.
"Mariah Carey is one of my favourites" Jim commented.
Marcus and I glared at Jim as he looked away and smiled.
We arrived at the airport and I got out of the car to help Jim and Marcus get their bags out.
"So I'll message you when we're on our way back?"
"Sure" I hugged Marcus then Jim after Alexis.
"Bye" we both said as we watched them leave.
As soon as they were out of sight we quickly jumped in the car.
Alex turned to me and left a kiss on my cheek, I turned my head and very quickly our lips were touching.
She pulled away as I started the car.
Alexis' hand was on my lap the whole way back to her house.
We pulled up outside.
"Do you want to come in?" she smirked.
I nodded then followed her in.
After switching all the lights on and locking the door we went into the kitchen.
Suddenly she stopped and stared into the kitchen, then I realised.
"Do you want me to check the door is locked?" I walked towards the backdoor.
She nodded.
I showed her that it was locked and placed the keys in a cupboard.
She breathed then stepped in.
We grabbed a few snacks then watched a movie.
Soon after the Harry Potter movie had finished I felt this would be the time to ask Alexis.
"Alexis?"
"Yeah?" She turned and smiled at me.
"Alexis, will you be my... girlfriend?"
Her smile grew as the words fell out.
"Yes!" she kissed then hugged me as her phone buzzed.
She looked down and saw Zoe's name light up on the screen.
She picked up her phone and answered the call.
"Hey Zo"
"Yeah Joe's here"
"No, he's just come over to make sure I'm  alright by myself" Alex looked at me and smiled.
"Okay, will do, bye love you too"
Alex ended the call.
"What did she say?"
"She asked me if I needed company and if you were here, then she was like awww that's so cute and yeah" she rolled her eyes.
Alex looks so hot when she rolls her eyes.
I smirk at her as she stands up.
"Let's go to my room" she smiles, my eyes widen.
"Um okay" I hesitate as Alex pulls me upstairs.
We sit on her bed for a while until I turn to her and we fall.
I laugh slightly then kiss her as she takes her shoes off.
Alex pushes me down onto the bed as she sits on top of me.
"Joe..."
I pull out a condom packet as Alex gulps.
"We don't have to—"
"No, I do..."
I do my thing as Alex starts to take her clothes off, I look away and hide myself with my boxers.
"I'm... ready"
I grab Alex as she starts kissing me.
Things get pretty heated until she stops.
"Joe..." she says in between kisses.
"Joe..." I stop and look at her.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm... fine" she pulls me into another kiss as things go further.
Then all of sudden I'm pushed away, "I can't do this, I'm sorry"
Alex grabs her clothes and pulls them on and over her head.
I sit awkwardly with just my boxers on.
As she comes back, she sits on the bed and placed her head in her hands.
I sit next to her.
"It's fine Alex... you're not ready yet, and I understand that" she turns and hugs me.
"Can we just sleep in my bed and cuddle?" She looks up to me.
I nod and smile.
We settle down and pull the quilt up to our chins.
Alex lies on my chest as I fall asleep stroking her hair.
