Seventeen year old Eddie Kaspbrak sat on his white duvet cover, scrolling through his phone. He sighed slightly at the sight. He didn't know what to expect, it was the same each day. No friends to message him, a neat instagram feed and a few apps he rarely used besides tumblr.
He envied so deeply all those adventurous souls on instagram. Those that stood with their feet in the beach sand in a bikini in the deepest part of winter for a good picture. Those that stood with their cameras at the top of a canyon or waterfall and took a good picture that made for nothing more than a cheap memory and few thousand likes.
But hell, even more so he envied normal people that went to movies. People who walk hand in hand with their lover down a park.Just normal people doing normal things.
He wanted so badly to be one of them. Just an average kid who went to school and got shoved into lockers and stressed over due dates.
But he wasn't, and he never would be. He was doomed to a life hidden in his four white walls.
