    The older woman enveloped you in her embrace as you stood there frozen. She sniffled as emotions enveloped her.

    "My darling y/n.....I've searched everywhere......I went back for you in the hidden sand but you weren't there..I was so worried!" Her gripped tightened around you. Tears formed in your eyes.

     "Mom...." Your voice cracked as konan jumped down from the tree to find out what's going on.

     "It's ok.....I'm here now.." she soothed. You wrapped your arms around her and cried.

      "I thought- I thought you were dead.!" You sobbed. As unexpected as it was, before this you thought you were an orphan. You both released and she wiped the tears from under your eyes.

       "Jashin had sent me on a mission...he told me a I had to leave you behind....now I know why." She released your face and looked away in thought. "You said he's gone, and he's given you all of his power correct?" You nodded. She smiled. "That must mean he's chosen you as our successor my dear! Congratulations!" A proud look graced her features. You smiled. She admired your outfit. "The Akatsuki huh? Im glad your being protected by such a capable group.....but you should leave it." She said. Your eyes widened.

      "What...? No! They're my family! I can't just leave them." You objected. A hurt look flashed in her eyes.

      "I apologize...you didn't even know of I was alive until moments ago...I have no right to control your choices." She said understandingly.

      "Thank you." You forgave her. Konan walked behind you and placed a hand on your shoulder. Your mom eyed her curiously. "Mom. This is konan. Konan. This is my mom." You introduced.

       "It is a pleasure to meet you." Konan bowed. Your mom smiled.

        "You as well...I must thank you though, I'm sure the Akatsuki has been good to her." She said. Konan smiled.

        "Everyone she meets takes a liking to her. But she's trained herself to become strong." You blushed.

        "Okokok we should get going before pain gets worried." You said pulling the conversation off of you. Konan nodded.

        "Your mom may come too. If she'd like." Everyone agreed and you all went on your way.

         The rain pounded onto the three of you as you maneuvered your way through the hidden rain to get to the hideout. You and your mom caught up in each others stories. Such as how she actually 56 and still looks 30. Where she went after she left you, which just so happened to be the hidden leaf. And you told her of your second family, who fell to the hands of the leaf ninja. How Jashin helped you to meet Hidan which ended up with you in the Akatsuki. Konan just kept to herself as she lead you both to the hideout.

      The door to the hideout squeaked open as you all walked inside. Rain dripped off of your clothes as you removed your coat and leaned the executioners blade against the wall.

     "Obito?" Your mother questioned as your orange masked friend looked at her startled.

     "How do you know me?" He said in a low voice. Until it hit him.  "M/n......" He said.

       You looked around confused.

       "Obito.......why are you wearing that mask?" She said walking closer to him. He scoffed.

        "Here to ruin my plans....how unfortunate." He sighed. You looked on confused.

      "Mom how do you know tobi?" You questioned.

       "I helped train him and his team when the 4th hokage was still alive...obito was crushed by a boulder, how are you still here?" She said.

        "That doesn't concern you woman how did you see through my disguise so quickly!?" He yelled. The other Akatsuki members gathered into the room, curious. Deidara held a look of immense confusion at 'obito'.

       "How could I forget my favorite student?"she stated. He hesitated. Before growling.

       "Looks like I'm starting this plan sooner rather than later. Not like it would have happened anyway. Our most precious member won't let the Akatsuki die." He threw a smoke bomb that filled the room and vanished. Everyone was on guard wondering where he went. But most importantly what was this plan he was talking about?

     
      What you didn't know was elsewhere Kabuto has come back....the fourth shinobi war has officially begun.
