Language and violence

Liza's POV
"Again, thank you so much for your cooperation, Ms Dobrik."

David has his arm around my waist, pulling me close to him. I wipe away a tear from his eye and kiss him like I won't see him for a... oh. I won't. He squeezes my hand.

"I love you, babe."

I can only smile without breaking into tears. I slip into the passengers seat of the police cars and watch David crumple into tears as I speed past. I press my hand to the window, though he won't see me.

"So what are the odds that he can bail me out?"

"To pay that much? Well, shit. He'd have to be a multi millionaire."

"Well, I mean, he is."

"Then fairly easy. It's a long process though"

I sigh and rest my head against the window. It doesn't feel like I'm going to ducking jail. It feels like Gabbie is driving me home after a long night out. It's only until we pull up to the precinct that it really hits me.

"By law, I'm required to handcuff you."

He clips the cuffs tightly around my wrists. He leads me up to an area with a few windowless cells.

"Is he going to be able to visit me or talk to me?"

"Both, but he can't visit for very long  periods of time."

I sigh and keep walking forward.

"I'm really, really sorry about this. I know it wasn't your fault, but we have to take these legal precautions."

"Yeah. I understand."

He slides the cell open and I step inside. I offer him my wrists when he opens he hatch to undo my handcuffs. He gives a small wave and walks away, and I sink to the floor in tears.

David's POV

I'm sitting in my beige couch, sobbing my eyes out. Jason is beside me, rubbing my back.

"Jail! My wife is in jail for something she didn't do. And I can't do anything to help her."

"Well, you can try to bail her out."

I glare at him before putting my head back in my hands.

"Well you can't just sit here for the next three years and do nothing."

I sit up and take in a deep breath.

"All of this legal bullshit is getting to me. I could bail her out right now if there were no problems with papers."

I slide over to my computer and check my bank account. Definitely enough to bail out Liza. I shoot a quick email to my lawyer and the chief of police that had Liza arrested. I can only hope for the best.

Bleh, bleh, bleh. I know. Short. But I promise, the next few will be... satisfactory.... hehe. That's what I'm leaving you with. But I'm sorry how short this is. I've had really bad writers block. I'm almost over it I think. As always, sorry for typos.

thx babes
