The Keeper gang (Reminder: Sophie, Fitz, Biana, Keefe, Marella, Dex, Linh and Tam) were going to be spending their holidays in the Forbidden Cities.
After Sophie spent a great deal of time telling them about the holidays and how Thanksgiving+Christmas+New Years=Happiness and Love in the Human World. ("So, basically what you're saying is that on Christmas Eve, there's this old dude named Cinder Claws or whatever that goes around on a 'magic' sleigh delivering presents to all the good kids, right?" Keefe asked.) The council granted them permission to spend their Foxfire break celebrating human traditions in the human world.
A while ago, Sophie had also told her friends about Paris and the Eiffel tower and how it was the city of mushy love. Immediately, they all grew obsessed with the Eiffel-thingy and it didn't help that Dex explained how awesome it looked amidst the beautiful city lights.
"I want to go there for Christmas." Keefe said immediately. And of course, the rest of the group agreed.
"Yeah, but they speak French there. And you guys can only speak the Enlightened language and a little bit of English." Sophie argued.
"Yeah, but you're a Polyglot." Marella pointed out unhelpfully.
Sophie sighed. As much as she hated to admit it, they made a good point there.
Of course seeing that Fitz, Keefe, Tam and Dex refused to touch anything from Alvar's clothes and Sophie outgrew her old human stuff, they had to go shopping. But how were they supposed to go shopping without human clothes?! It was just too confusing.
In the end, they all decided that they'd have to choose the most human out of their Elvin clothes to go shopping. So in the end, Sophie settled on some good ol' comfy lace-up boots and a dark purple tunic with a cream colored sweater that looked human, enough. Biana and Linh wore similar outfits though Marella, due to her least exposure to the Forbidden Cities was lucky enough to be that short and borrowed some of Sophie old human clothes. Though that was a bit small for her too.
The boys had a similar situation. Dex, being a bit short, borrowed Keefe's old clothes while the rest wore the most human out of their clothes.
Before they left, Biana suffered from a small temper tantrum. "What do you mean I won't be able to wear any of my makeup?! They are all designed to enhance natural beauty!" Marella wore makeup too. Though she was a bit more understanding than Biana and agreed to not wear any during there trip.
Sophie had to control her eyes not to instinctively roll themselves around. "Biana, you need to understand. The reason why we're standing here wearing the most human-looking clothes we have, is because we need to blend in with the human crowd. I think I told you this before back in our Black Swan vs. Neverseen days that elves are a whole lot prettier than humans. With your makeup on, you'll stand out. A lot."
"Oooh, did Foster just call us 'hot?'" Keefe shouted excitedly.
Sophie ignored him. But technically, yes, she did. Biana scowled. "Oh, fine! I'll go wash off my makeup!"
When she came out of the bathroom, Biana had a few minor changes set on her facial features. Her eyelashes weren't as full and dark as they had been, same with her lips, but her cheeks still had there same tint of red.
"See? You still look pretty!" Sophie exclaimed pointedly.
The rest of the gang muttered their agreement as well but it was no use. Biana still crossed her arms, shifted to one side and huffed.
Sophie sighed. This girl needed to have some work done.

"Wow, humans are dirty." Marella commented a second after they took time to view the place.
"Yeah." Tam agreed also staring at the litter across they park they had privately leaped on.
"I mean, Sophie and I've been here before, so we have a heads-up on how dirty it is." Dex added after Tam.
Sophie stayed quiet observing her surroundings. Walking over to an abandoned can of Fanta, she tossed it in the nearest garbage can. Dusting her hands, she walked back to her friends. "Well, at least they've improved. Slightly." she added noticing their raised eyebrows.
"Anyways, we've gotta find the best clothing store!" Biana exclaimed loudly. "Here, this'll be the plan: We'll split up, girls and boys. We meet back here in two and a half hours. Got it?"
They all nodded their heads quickly. The wrath of disagreeing with Biana was pretty bad. Considering she was still in a bad mood with the no-makeup rule.
So, they all split up, girls and boys. "Um, Sophie. So do you know any stores we can go into?" Linh asked in her quiet voice.
"Oh, yeah." A shameful blush colored Sophie's cheeks. "Er...back in my human days, I didn't go shopping often and that was a long time ago so....I don't know any."
Marella shrugged and spoke before Biana could lash out. "It's no big deal. I guess we'll just have to, y'know, browse." Biana begrudgingly let out a quiet agreement to this.
In the time they were browsing, her makeup disagreement with Sophie cooled off and they were back to joking around about their own love lives (Fitz and Sophie, Dex and Linh, Marella and Tam, and Biana and Keefe). Soon, they stumbled upon a clothing store labeled as Charlotte's Seasonal Wear. The display window showed some mannequins wearing some comfy and promising looking clothes. Instantly, Biana lit up. Dragging them inside behind her she yelled. "C'mon, let's go!"
After about 45 minutes of Biana choosing out cute winter outfits and dresses to last them a whole year (they only needed enough for a month) she immediately demanded them to go into the changing rooms and strut out wearing the clothes she had chosen out for them.
Linh went in first. She came out wearing a gray t-shirt matched with a light brown jacket and some skinny jeans. Then, Linh changed into a dark button down dress that ended above her ankles. Sophie agreed with Biana when she said that the dress looked good on her. The dress' buttons brought out her grayish blue eyes and the dark color made her hair appear shinier.
After Linh's fashion show, it was Marella's turn. Marella happily struck a few poses. Her first outfit looked awesome on her. It was an ice blue t-shirt that complimented her eyes paired with a striped turtleneck and a matching skirt and leggings. Her dress was baby pink and had a black collar. Marella was really happy with what Biana had chosen out for her and that made the fashion princesses start fashion-girling.
Then, it was Sophie's turn. Her casual winter outfit was a red (red, red, red,) shirt, a cream colored sweater accompanied by a gray beanie and scarf. Quote-unquote Biana, the cream sweater brought out the color of her hair. It was rather expected when Biana got Sophie a red dress. With lace long sleeves, the dress ended below the knees and was to be worn with a thin black belt. Otherwise, everything was o.k.
As planned, the girls and boys met up in the park after they were done. "Phew," Fitz mumbled wiping off a bead of sweat from his forehead. "At least that's done. Keefe made us change into a bunch of different outfits nonstop."
Sophie laughed. "That's sounds a lot like what the girls and I had to go through with Biana." she paused. "But hey, at least she's not so cranky anymore!"
A.N: Okay, I'm not going to lie, the ending to that one was really abrupt. So, I kinda came up with this Christmas special and it'll have multiple parts. But don't worry! I'll use your ideas too and give you full credit for them. Heck, I'll just dedicate the whole thing to ya.
