Part Seven

We looked at the project laying in the floor, I let out a long breath as we finally finished. 2 hours doing this, obviously messing around and taking tiny brakes, but still. I got up from the floor in Natalie's bedroom, and helped her up.

"I'm thirsty, want water?" Natalie asked as she slide with her socks over to the door.

"Sure" I nodded, sliding myself towards her, since she made me take my shoes off and stay with my socks.

We walked downstairs-slipping slightly in the way- and into the kitchen. I sat in the stool plopping my elbows over the island. I watched as Natalie took a pink and blue cup from a high cabin and walked towards the fridge, placing the blue cup below the icemaker.

"With, or without ice?" She looked at me.

"Ice" I nodded.

Seconds later, she handed me the blue cup with water and ice, I smiled at her and mumbled a thank you. Natalie rested her elbows ontop of the island infront of me, she took a sip of her water.

"So... Any girl?" I choked as I drank water.

"Excuse me?" I coughed.

"Any girl? Come on! We finished the project and I want to know you better!" Natalie whined pouting.

"Ok, and no. But, there was a girl" I shook my head and twirl the cup around.

"Aw! Tell me about it!" She smiled.

I was about to open my mouth when she cupped my face with her hands.

"Tell me in the livingroom, come on" She whispered and ran towards the livingroom.

I chuckled and took a last sip of my water, before jogging carefully towards the livingroom. Natalie patted the side next to her as she had her legs crossed. I walked over to the place she patted at and took a seat, before I could talk once again she interrupted me.

"Can I?"

"What?"

"Can I?" She asked innocently.

"What are you talking about?" I frowned.

"Yes or no?"

"Yes?" I scrunched my face.

"Thank you"

Natalie turned around facing me and placed her legs ontop of my lap, putting the left leg ontop of the right one, but then changing back again where they were straight.

"Talk" She motioned me.

I chuckled before talking, should I do this? Talk about her in this way, well telling our story to a girl I know in less than a week? Well..... We are getting to know each other, so why not.

"This girl named Beatrice and I were dating for a year - we ended our relationship about three months ago, almost - and I was very happy with her. We weren't like the jock and the cheerleader, not at all, she was just a girl very outgoing, always wanting attention, very loud and egocentric, not much though. I always noticed her, since that's what she wanted that everybody had their attention on her.

One day, after about two months of seeing her act like this I had curiousity of asking her why she was so loud and more in recess or lunch, whatever. I went up to her in the library of school and sat next to her as I saw her reading with her glasses on, which she totally hated using, she looked at me and frowned and to be honest in the library was the moment she was so quiet, and chill to say, which was very weird to see her like that" I smiled and looked at Natalie as she bit her lip.
