Leon tapped his fingers on the armrest. Yao rambled on about his youth. The elderly man often got on rants like this. After 104 years of life, he had plenty of stories that he still managed to wear out all of them. Not to mention, his uncle's mind was constantly in the past. He didn't believe in many modern-day things.

Unfortunately, he'd been stuck next to Yao for the past 12 hours. " Only 3 more hours, only 3 more hours...." He kept whispering that in his mind.

His uncle, being his closest living family member and also being one to stick to ancient traditions, had arranged a marriage for him. Apparently, there was a family in Iceland with a daughter. He could only assume this poor girl was stuck with the same type of family members as he had.

Yao grumbled something and pinched his nephew's arm. When he received a satisfactory yelp, he frowned. " Do not space out. Women don't like it if you're not listening, aru. Consider this training!" With that, he continued his storytelling.

Emil shut the door to his room quietly. He was determined not to make a noise. His older brother was sleeping in the other room and he did not need to be awoken just yet. The white-haired boy padded down the carpeted stairs. He was headed for the front door.

He reached for the door handle and a floorboard creaked below him. He winced as a strong hand grabbed his write and he was forced to meet the gaze of Mathias, a family friend who had been sleeping over recently.

" What're you doing, Emil? Do you have any idea what time it is?" Mathias' voice was weak, like he had been previously sleeping.

An idea came to the younger boy's brain and he led the half-asleep Dane back to the couch where he'd been staying. " You're dreaming, go back to bed." When Mathias fell for his little white lie, the boy slipped out of the house.

Leon locked the door to the hotel room that he and his uncle shared. He switched off the light and sat down at the desk. He checked to make sure the snores from Yao were genuine and opened his laptop. Pulled up on his screen was the home page of a blogger from Iceland that he followed the every move of.

Not in a creepy way. Over the years of reading his posts and leaving comments, they'd gotten closer. To the point where they video-chatted once a week. It was hard because of the timezones, but they made it work. Naturally, he'd let the Icelandic know he was visiting nearby.

He was a bit disheartened to see that the blogger hadn't replied to his latest text message about where he was staying. The Chinese man checked his watch. 10pm. First thing in the morning, he and his uncle were going to meet his fiancée. He hated his current situation but meeting his online friend would make everything better. So the moment his phone buzzed, he scrambled to open his text messages.

" Which room?" He read aloud. Jumping from his seat, he flung to curtains open and looked down at their beautiful view of the front of the hotel.

Leon looked around for the boy he'd grown to be friendly with. There was no sight of him. He squinted, looking past the flashy entrance to the building into the shadows. A pale face was just barely illuminated by the screen of a phone. A second later, the light disappear as the boy in the shadows seemed to be waiting for something.

The boy rushed to his portable electronic device and shot a simple text at him. " Look up." He turned on the bedside lamp and waited for the text to send. The moment it did, the boy in the shadow's phone flashed on, confirming Leon's suspicions.

He slid the window open. Being only on the second floor, he was very close to the ground and nearly right next to his online friend.

Emil's phone buzzed and his eyes widened. " Look up..." He read in his mind. His head jerked around to find where he needed to look. His eyes landed on a room as it's lights flashed on and a figure appeared to open the window.
