Nothing is whole;

Hearts aren't;

No one's is;

I hoped yours was;

I hoped mine could be;

I hoped we could be whole together.

Nothing is good;

People aren't;

No one is;

I thought we were good;

I thought we were right;

I thought we were happy.

Nothing is normal;

I'm not;

No one is;

I hoped you were;

I hoped that I could be;

I hoped we were going to be okay

Nothing is safe;

Secrets aren't;

Nothing is;

I thought this was;

I thought hearts were;

I thought, I thought, I thought;

I thought we were safe together.

Everyone can be happy;

No;

I'm not;

Have I ever been?

I thought I was;

I thought it was you;

You're happy;

I could never be like you.
