" So your telling me you two have no idea what happened to those girls?" Asked the ACS worker who was grilling Melissa up and down with the nastiest face in the world. Melissa:" NO. I told you. Look we told you all we know can we please go see them now?" (ACS )Mrs.Duff :" Unfortunately you can't. The thing is, with cases like this we cant allow any suspects communicate or see the the victims until the we have the correct information from everybody." Jacob:" suspects? Victims? them girls did this to themselves. We are the real victims here. Nobody touched them girls. This is just a big misunderstanding. Matter of fact why are you in our faces when you should be questioning the twins? (ACS) MRS.DUFF : MY partner is talking with them right now. Look Sir, with all do respect I understand that this is a difficult time right now. I just need you both to stay strong and have a little patience. Being that you to are new Forster parents if they story checks out like yours then they will be able to go home in a few days. Now if they story is different, and by different I mean if they say they didn't harm themselves, then we will take them in and place them else where. Melissa: "What do you mean if they story check out then we will be able to take them home in a few days? why cant they come home once we all of this is done?" Now depending on how well they do in the children's ward, that will determine how long they will be there. it can take up to six to twelve months, sometimes a little or a lot longer. these girls have been to four different homes and it seems like everywhere they go something happens to them, following the guardians saying they have no clue what happen. this is a long going situation. ACS Worker MS.LEE:" So both of you girls don't remember anything?" Rebecca:" No" JESS: "Well i do remember eating dinner then going to play in our room, i guess i felt asleep because i woke up in a here. MS.Lee:" okay. MS.Lee:" The girls are claiming they have no memory of what happen. I can understand Jessica not remembering because she lost a lot of blood, but the other one? no. I really cant tell if shes telling the truth or not. What are the parents saying?" Mrs.Duff: "They are sticking to the story. they have no idea what happened. they were looking around the house for a pocket knife, they heard a scream and ran to the girls room. once they were in the room they was confused because they was pretty sure they heard a scream. they both went to walk out of the room until Melissa saw the pocket knife on the floor by the window with blood on it."
Ms.Lee:" Wow okay well you know whats next.call up the agency and let them know the twins are coming back in about a week or so. If these girls did this to themselves then we cant have them around other kids right now. I will speak with the doctor ask them to check them in. They are going to the children's Ward for the week. Mrs. Duff:" They are saying they cant remember anything. So from here have no choice but to check them in the hospital until we can get to the bottom of this, once the week is up if we cant get to the bottom of it then we would have no choice but to give this case to the D.A and let him decide whats going to happen.
