"Believe me." He said, fighting back the tears of his own. "I don't love you anymore."

Her heart shattered.  Into trillions of tiny pulverized pieces.

"I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you." Leighton whispered.

She lifted her head and met his eyes. They were a reflection of hers; broken, confused, lost.

"You promised." Were the only words that could come out of the broken girl.

Leighton covered his face in his hands, and began to close the door. Leighton did these types of things, he hid his fears and sadness hoping that if he couldn't see them then they weren't there.

"You promised you would never hurt me." His sadness spoke up.

He stopped. "I am saving you, Addilyn."

"No you are breaking me. Pushing me away, and and you're.."

He closed the door.

Addilyn screamed and sobbed, slamming onto the closed door. "Let me in Leighton, let me fucking in!"

Her head was pounding, her makeup was a mess. She had the feeling that all her clothes were too tight and cutting off her circulation and she just needed to breath. Little did she know, even if she were to cut and rip of every single piece of clothing on her body she still wouldn't be able to breath.

"Leighton. Please I know you are in there, please let me in. Please. Please. Please. Please." Each time she said it her voice more and more weak.

Addilyn paused. She was drained. No matter how heartbroken she was, she had no energy to fight anymore. No matter how much she loved him. She left.

Leighton noticed the silence. He opened the door and looked out into the hallway. He fell to the ground.

"Why? Why did I do that?" He sobbed to himself.

She loved him, and its no secret he loved her.

All good things end eventually. All good things end regretfully.
