The following day Midoriya's alarm wakes him up. He immediately jumps out of bed in excitement, and frantically takes a shower; unable to calm his nerves. A combination of anxiety and joy was spiraling in his head. After exiting the bathroom, he pushed his nerves to the side and decided to text Tsu.
M: Good morning Tsu. Just wanted to make sure if we're still on for today?
T: Morning Midoriya, and yeah of course. Did you figure out where we should go?
M: Yes I figured we should go to Tokyo Midtown Mall, they have lots of cool things we could do. What do you say?
T: Yeah absolutely sounds good to me. I can't wait, I'm a bit nervous but mostly excited. Hope that makes sense.
M: That's exactly how I felt when I woke up. Good to know I'm not the only one. I'll come to pick you up at 1 o'clock. Okay?
T: Yeah sure, I'll be ready by then. See you soon.
M: 😁
Midoriya headed downstairs where he was greeted by his mother.
"Morning sweetheart, I'm making eggs and bacon. Would you like some?"
"Morning mom, thanks but I'll pass."
"Oh, are you not feeling well?"
"Don't worry mom I'm fine. It's just I wanna save my appetite when I go on my um well...I have a date."
Inko dropped her spatula on the kitchen counter and rushed to hug her son.
"Oh, I'm so happy for you Izuku. Is it with that girl you had a crush on?"
"Yeah, it is. Her name is Tsu."
"So you took my advice I see. So tell me, what is she like?"
"Well, she's kind, honest, and really cute when she smiles."
"I'm glad to hear it, I'm guessing you'll need some money. Here you go."
"Mom this is way too much. I'm going on a date not moving out."
Inko let out a small laugh, and gently caressed her son's head.
"Sweetheart I want your first date to be special. Spend as much as you need. As long as the two of you have a good time, then with that alone, I'll be happy."
"Thanks, mom, you're the best."
"Well I try, now you should probably get dressed. Don't wanna go in your pajamas."
