Barry Allen/The Flash x Reader: Lighting has Power

Chapter 6

The time right now is in season two when Zoom/Jay is introduced.

I was watching the news before work because I had time when I saw The Flash on the news. He was at the place where Iris works. Barry was being held up by Zoom... he looked lifeless... I felt tears running down my eyes. "Look what happened to your hero?p." Zoom said in his dark voice. "Not so much of a hero now is he. Lifeless and limp. Won't be needing him anymore." "NO!!!!!!" I screamed at the tv and grabbed my keys then drove to SL. When I got there the only person there was Dr. Well. "Where is Caitlyn and Cisco?" I asked him. "They went to go pick up Barry. I'm guessing you've heard from the news?" "Yes I have. Will he be ok!?" "Well with his rapid healing he should be alright as long as he isn't dead already which I'm guessing he is." "HEY! Do you even believe in Barry?! I'm starting to think you're not the person you used to be! You've changed the past few years and I'm not even sure if you've realized that!" I said to him standing up for Barry. "Yes. I have changed. But in ways you won't understand. Now, track Cisco and Caitlyn and see if there back yet." "Fine." I rolled my eyes and waited.

Le time skip

It was a few hours later after Barry has got back to star labs and gotten fixed up by Caitlyn. It turns out that Barry broke his back and if he was a normal person he would be paralyzed for the rest of his life. Thankfully he's a speedster and can heal fast. But he did have to walk with a cane for a few days until his back healed With was the least worst thing possible about the situation.

Le time skip again...

A few days later Barry was finally healed and was fighting mettas in no time. Although, it feels like Barry had been more distant lately. He hasn't called or texted me at all recently. Maybe it's just his work he's busy with, or he cheating on me which would be horrible. Let hope he isn't cheating on me. I couldn't imagine living without him. I decided I would text him and ask what's up. 'Hey Bar. Can you meet me at Jitters at 5:00 tonight?' I waited a few minutes for a reply. He didn't answer. I decided to think that he was just at work and couldn't text me.

Le time skip AGAIN

It was about and hour later and so I decided I would text Barry again because he for sure was done by now. 'Hey Bar? Where are you? I texted you an hour ago. I'm worried something happened to you :(.'
It was a few minutes later and still no reply. I grabbed my keys and decided to go to SL.
I got there and walked in and saw everyone doing their normal jobs but no Barry. "Hey, have you seen Barry around? I tried texting him but he didn't answer." I asked Cisco. "Hmm I don't know. His suits gone so we can track him." A few moments later Cisco yelled out found him. " He's at some old warehouse. We should go." Caitlyn, Cisco, and I got in the SL van and drove to the warehouse that Barry was most likely in. We got out and walked inside. "Hello?" I said loudly. It was echoey. I could hear a muffled voices but I couldn't make out the words. "MMMHHMM!! MNMHHHMMN!" I heard the muffled voice again but more panicky like. "It's Barry!" Caitlyn yelled and pointed at a chair with Barry tied up in it squirming around. I ran over to him and ripped the tape form his mouth. "Oww! That hurt!" Barry yelled. "Sorry!" I said to him while untying him from the chair. "Who kidnapped you?" I asked him. " It was Zoom..." I looked up at Caitlyn and Cisco behind me with a scared look on my face and they looked at me with pretty much the same face that I had on. Scared and mad. "We have to get you out of here fast before-" I was cut off by a dark voice. "Before what?" I was facing toward the door when I froze and didn't do anything. I was scared and didn't know what to do except for stand there, looking at a wall. "Y/N? Hello? Are you ok?" Cisco asked me waving his hand in my face. "Y, yeah. I'm f, fine." I said still frozen. I eventually turned around and faced Zoom with a scared face looking up at him. He sped towards me in less then a millisecond. He held me up by the shirt. "Try something like this again, and your dead." Zoom said to me looking me in the eyes. I nodded the. He put me down. I hugged Barry and begged him to take me back with him and he did.
