One touch

The After Party

Gracelyn's POV
     *BOOM* All of a sudden we hear a big crash. It's right next to me. I'm right by the stair case and a piece wood hits my head. I fall to the ground. But behind me a new kid named X-Zander pummels through the stair case. He's most likely drunk. But being right next to the disaster I completely black out for a good 2 minutes. When I wake up I'm in a bed. Surrounded by 5 people. Travis, Seth, Katie, Leo, and X-Zander. I wake up slowly barley opening my eyes. When I'm fully awake I mumble, "W- where am I?" Their eyes get wide. "OMG your awake!" Kate says. She try's hugging me without crushing me. "You took a pretty big hit there"Travis says. I roll my eyes. "And why are you here?" He bows his head down like a puppy who ripped the mail. "Just concerned I guess." I notice there's no music. "Did the party stop?" "Yeah." Seth says. "Kate tried calling your parents but they never answered." I huff. "They never do." I try to get out of bed but I stop and feel a sharp pain in my leg. Everyone tries to stop me. "When you fell you hit your leg." X-Zander finally speaks. I look at him confused "Wait aren't you the kid who got hurt?"
X-Zander's POV
     I was completely drunk. Everything was blurry. Leo is the only one I know here so I try to find him. I bump into a crowd of guys. They looked like trouble. And they were. "Watch it!" One of them says angrily. The other shoves me. Soon I find myself slammed into the stairs. I have a feeling I'm not the only one who's gonna get hurt at this point. There are people EVERYWHERE!  I land on my feet somehow and look over to a girl getting hit. HARD! I immediately try to help her. But before I could this guy runs up to her. "Oh my gosh is she ok?" I ask in panic. "She'll be fine but, I need help." He says. "Anything." I'm willing to after this. "First, get everyone out." I give him a look. I can't do that all on my own. I know! I'll get Seth! "SETH!" I yell looking for him. I finally find him in the backyard flirting with this blonde. I've seen her before. But never mind that. "SETH!" I get his attention. He seems annoyed. "What's up X-Zander?" "You need to shut the party down." I whisper to him. "What why?" I take him inside to his destroyed stairs. He's in awe. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE OUT!" He yells viciously. People stare in silence. "Come on we got school tomorrow!" He winks. Then he points at the stairs and the door and atomically people get the idea. Once everyone is gone the blonde walks in and sees the girl who got hit. "GRACELYN!" She runs to her. "I'm gonna take her upstairs." Travis tells her. "Since when does Travis Anderson care about someone other than himself?" She says angrily.
Soon another guy is left here. Besides me Kate, Travis, And Leo. "Travis is my ride home so I'm not going anywhere. Plus I know Gracelyn." He says. So we all go upstairs.
Travis POV
    After I see Grace fall I immediately check in her. As if it was an instinct. I didn't hesitate.
While I tell the new kid X-Zander to clear everyone out I look for ice. Then in a flash Zander, Seth, Kate, Leo, and I head upstairs. We lay her down on the master bed. It takes her a minute or two but she comes back. "Where am I? Is the party over?" She asks. "Yes. Your upstairs in bed. You took a pretty big hit there." I answer. She tries to get up but stands with a sharp pain in her leg which was hit when she fell. She sits back down. "Do you want something to eat?" I ask to break the silence. "I want to know who did this." She says with an evil stare. "Ummm. That would be me." X-Xander says shyly. And without hesitation. "And who are you exactly?"
Gracelyn's POV
     At this point I'm furious! Not just because I'm hurt, but I can't fricken do anything! It's so annoying. And plus who is this X-Xander kid anyways? Ok that's it. "I'm going home!" I demand. "Kate let's go." She turns to me in a disappointing face. "Ummm... dad said he can't pick us up till 8:00 and we'll, it's 5:40." Really it seemed later than that? Oh crap. It's that damn daylight saving thing🙄. Ugh this is pointless. I can't get out of bed, but there would be no point to that if I don't have a ride, AND I'm stuck with these people. (ObviouslyKate is fine but the others..) "hey! I have an idea!," Travis points out, " Well my moms a doctor we can all stay at my house for the night. And I have a car." He chuckles. "NO!" I say bluntly. "There's no way I'm driving with you."

Ten minutes later...
"So this is my home." He points out as we walk in. As you know I can't walk so of course he has to carry me. But sadly... I kinda enjoyed it...
