As they enter the house, Gracie isn't exactly enjoying herself. Even though she's in one of the most popular guy in school, she's not buying his act. "Here, lets go upstairs." Travis suggests. Grace gives him the evil eye. "What?" He says acting startled. They head upstairs and lay Grace down on the bed. "Do you have and ice or bandages?" Kate asks. "Yeah!,"Leo says eagerly, I'll show you down stairs." They walk downstairs and the rest of them look at each other and giggle. "So... are they dating?" X- Zander asks. Grace, Seth, and Travis giggle. "No!" Seth immediately says. "Gosh! Do you have a thing for her or a something?" Grace asks jokingly. Seth and Travis shoot a look at each other. "OMG! You have a thing for Katie!!!" She figure out. Seth blushes. 😳 Grace laughs historically. " she's had a crush on you since like 5th grade!" Travis and Seth are in shock. "Well... until now. Leo has her swept off her feet." Grace rolls her eyes. She never liked Leo very much. But she has always supported Katie. Through ANYTHING!

FLASH BACK
"Hey Grace? Can I ask you something?" Of course Kate. Anything!" "Well we're in 4th grade now and I think we should start wearing makeup." "Why? We're frigin adorable! Plus I don't really like makeup." The next day she came to school with lips shines pink. Then Stephanie started making fun of her. So Grace wore it the day after with her.
Travis POV
GOD SHES GORGEOUS! I can't take my eyes off her. But when she figures out Seth's secret, it goes wild!  "Wait? You like the chick hitting on Leo? Hahahaha😂" X-Zander laughs. Well I guess he laughed a little too hard because he need the bathroom right after. But.. since he didn't know were it was Seth left leaving me and Grace in the room. "So.... how's your leg?" I ask to break the silence. She tries to move her leg. "Oh it's in great shape. I can do a backflip right now." She says with another evil eye. I swear it's her signature look for me. Well.. at least I have one. "Oh.."I say. And the silence starts again. She sighs. "Thank you though. I guess." We smirk. "So why now?" She asks. "Why do you like me now?" I blush a little. "Well..I know I've changed since last year, but I've always been me. And I've always like you." I turn and she looks away.

Gracelyn's POV
Ok, ok, ok. I know what your thinking. You like Travis??? And unfortunately yes. He's never been my type of guy, but somehow I always seem to get lost with him. I never told anyone. Not even Kate. And that's because I knew he'd never like me back. Unless I changed. DRASTICALLY.Which I did. And I haven't gotten used to it yet. "So...you've always liked me?" He asks. "Since the fall carnival in 4th grade. Remember when you decided it was ok to climb on too if the haunted house and scare the monsters?" He chuckled. "Yeah...I do." We trail off in silence for a moment. "And it's only till now since you thought I was attractive." It's has to be. He doesn't look at me. "Come on. I lost the braces, the pigtails, the glasses, the Dora shoes, and most importantly...the weight." I sigh and manage a tear down my cheek. He leans in and wipes my tear. We get lost in each others eyes. And that one touch down my face gives me chills. He leans in closer. I turn away knowing our lips would touch. "Tell me the truth Travis...." I say knowing this isn't gonna end my way. But what the heck? "What's the truth, he starts, that your gorgeous?" "No. That this isn't me. I'm NOT the pretty cheerleader who's confident in a skirt or to date the most popular guy in school and only for my looks." I say coldly. I know he won't like it but it's true. And I dont want it to be. I want him to tell me he likes me because I'm special, and not because I look hot in a dress.  "Hey, you stopped bleeding." I looked down. And yes, it stopped but it was still red. "My mom should be home soon." He says.
