Delusional (Alice in Wonderland)

The First Chapter: One More Victim

I'm 17 and already been assigned to marry someone. Yeah, it's like every girl's dream to get married but to a stranger? I don't think so.

" Alice, will you please smile at least," my mother told me. I smiled for a second and then went back to an unhappy face. The door bell rang. " That's must be him. Alice look cheerful." she commanded as she left the room.

Why should I? I'm not happy about all this. Then a young man at age 18 comes in. He looks decent and nothing special about him. " Good day Alice. I'm Lord Edgar. "

" Hello Lord Edgar." I gave a fake smile to please my mother a bit.

" Why don't you two go outside and know each other better." mother suggested. I got up and walked outside. Our courtyard looks more lovely on this day and the grass is greener. I walked over to the grass hill and sat down.

Lord Edgar came over and sat next to me. " Have you heard about this rumor about people gone missing without a trace?" he asked.

" No I haven't.  Please fill me in on this rumor." I gave yet another fake smile to him.

" Well I'm not sure about all this but I heard it from a friend. People are missing mysteriously and no dead bodies are found. Another thing all of them were young women from the age of 16 to about early 20s and all of them are named Alice."

For a second I believed him and then I gave out a little laugh. " Are you trying to scare me or something? Good try but try something else."

" I'm not joking around Ms. Alice." he gave a straight face.

" I'm pretty such lunch is already prepared by now so let's eat."I said as I saw a servant set down a sliver tray at the small table that was not far from us. We walked over and started eating.

" Alice you better not disappear all of the sudden." he said.

" I'm not. All that we know that it might be a silly rumor just to scare people." I said.

"No it's true. My friend's sister was named Alice and still of today they still haven't found any trace of her. Not even a lock of hair or anything that lead to her."

Now he started to tick me off. I tried to get away from this topic but it seems he's so interested into this. " I need to be alone for awhile." I said as I stood up.

" What's wrong Alice? Did I say something wrong?" he questioned.

" I hate my life.  How I'm living. My mother doesn't care about me. She's going to sent me away with a man she hasn't even met yet. I have a fiance at age 16. I just had it with everything! " I exclaimed as I started walking towards the rose maze. I looked up and saw a white rabbit in clothes hopping away.

I started following it but the rabbit seemed so fast. Every time I turned a corner the rabbit is already at the next corner. Then the rabbit jump into the rabbit hole. I got down on my hands and feet and looked down the hole. Then my hand slipped and I fell into the rabbit hole.

As I was falling, gravity became less and I started floating. I looked around and there was furniture floating with me. I slowly fell to the tile floor.

I looked around and spotted a pretty boy with white hair and red eyes. Also a pair of white rabbit ears. He looked at me and started running away.

" Wait!" I yelled as I started running after him.  I came upon a room with a table and a very small door. The door seems to be my only exit. It seems that I can't go back the way I came.

There was a little bottle said drink me. I grabbed the bottle and popped off the cork. I sniffed it first to make sure it was safe to drink. I took a little sip and I shrank to the size of the door.

I walked over to the door and turned the knob. Great it's locked! I looked up at the table and there was a key. Why wasn't that there before.

A little wooden box was next to me. The lid was engraved eat me. I opened it and saw a little biscuit. I took a bite and grew. I took the key and unlocked the door. I took the last sip of the bottle and exited.

Once I closed the door, it turned into bunch of butterfly like creature and flew away. Now I really can't go back the way I came from.

"Hello, girl." someone said from the trees. I looked around to find the person. Then a hot bad to the bone boy jumped down and gave me such a look that I couldn't explain.

" Hello. My name is Alice." I told him. I got a better look at him and see that he had cat ears and a cat tail that swayed side to side.

He started walking around me. " Alice. I'm Cheshire Cat. You can call me Cheshire. Everyone does. You seemed lost." he smirked. " Follow me. There's a tea party not too far from here."

" Wait!"

"Just follow me." he gave a devilish grin.
