All summer, Blaise, Draco, Rosalinda and Chloe were ecstatic about finally attending Hogwarts. Just weeks before they had their annual summer ball and they all looked dashing as per usual. They were a very good looking bunch that was for sure. They did the same as always; share one dance and then escape to the tree house. Alas, summer was over, and it was manic in the Campbell house hold as Chloe ran around the house collecting all her last minute things that she needed to pack.
'Chloe come sit down.' She obeyed her mother's orders and went into the  library to sit with her mother.

'You must not disgrace our name now sweet heart, our ancestors have been purely Slytherin, there was not one blood traitor, not one and you cannot be the first. Remember, no mixing with mud bloods or half bloods, you stick with Malfoy, Zabini and Humphrey.'

'I will mummy don't worry, I promise I'll get into Slytherin'

'Good girl, now run along your father will be apparating you there any minute now!'

Chloe let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. Vivienne was a
very frightening women, Chloe feared her more than anyone in the world. Chloe went to meet her father; she waited outside his study, she never dared enter, she was never allowed into his study. Once he came out, without a single greeting he took her wrist and said 'Think about the words Platform 9 3/4' Chloe followed suit and concentrated hard. Obviously, her parents attended Hogwarts and informed her all about the platform, how to school works, and the fact that Dumbledore has allowed muggle borns and half bloods to attend to school, they were not happy about that.

Once she arrived at the platform, she was positively mesmerised. Her eyes met a long, scarlet, steam train. She was taken aback by the glowing letters reading 'Hogwarts Express'. She couldn't wait to go but at the same time she would miss her mother and father. It was nerve racking leaving home, but she knew she wasn't alone. she turned to her father and tears threatened to fall.
'No Chloe, none of that, don't make a seen. The house elf will be here to collect to at Christmas. Now hurry before you miss the train!'
He shooed her off, she wasn't bothered, she was used to it that's exactly what she did. Once she boarded the train she walked along the middle looking for an empty compartment, or her friends. She walked all along the train and could not find a place to sit, a boy ran past her mumbling something about a toad and accidentally knocking her down.
'I'm so sorry,'said the small, chubby boy whilst helping her up 'I lost my toad!'

'It's fine,' she jumped up and brushed herself down 'hope you find your frog'

'Toad,' he replied correcting her, 'but thank you'

Chloe continued her search when she finally found an empty compartment. She sat down and looked out the window, when she looked where she thought she'd see her father, Chloe realised that he wasn't there. She huffed in annoyance that her own father couldn't be bothered to stay and wave her off. She was brought back from her thoughts when Blaise knocked on the door.'Anyone sitting here?' He asked. 'Blaise!' She jumped up and hugged him, 'boy am I glad to see you, I'm so nervous about the sorting, my parents will Avada kedavra me if I don't get Slytherin.'
'Same, mum already brought me a Slytherin scarf, hat, and even a tie' Blaise finished. Chloe chuckled at the thought of Blaise getting into hufflepuff instead and how furious Mrs Zabini would be. She was about to continue the conversation when Rosalinda burst into their compartment.
'Guys, guys, guess what, I just heard that Harry Potter is attending Hogwarts this year'

Chloe was shocked that such a thing could ever happen. They'd all heard of Harry Potter, the boy who lived. The one who defeated the most powerful wizard of all time at just the age of 1. No one knows how, but it happened. Personally, Chloe didn't share the fascination with Harry Potter...but like everyone else...she still wondered how he survived.

'Wow, Dumbledore's going full out this year then!' Laughed Blaise.

After Blaise's comment the compartment doors slid open as a particular blonde haired boy asked
'Can I sit?' Gesturing to the blue and green, checked seats.

Chloe jumped up from her seat and tackled Draco into a tight hug. Although Chloe was happy sitting with Blaise and Rosalinda, she needed Draco. They all discussed how weird it was going to be with a 'celebrity' in the school. They were all halfway through a conversation when the train came to a halt. Chloe looked outside the glass window as her eyes met a magnificent beauty.

The lighted castle stood tall as the night sky complemented the lit windows. To say it was huge was an understatement, it was a castle so ancient, Chloe was afraid that it may tumble down. But that thought seemed absurd as the stone walls stood tall giving a safe sense of security.

The four exited the train and met instant Kaos. Students of all ages, shapes, houses and sizes were bustling about all trying to find their way. Chloe was an extremely small girl and grabbed Rosalinda's hand before the crowd dragged them away. All four of them stood helplessly when they heard a call in the distant,

''Firs' yers over he'r!''

The same phrase was repeatedly bellowed out by a gigantic man. She could not believe her own eyes when the humongous, hairy, happy man beckoned all of the eleven year old children to follow him. The crowd of students began to follow him and so all four of them went along with it.

After a minute or two of walking, they were eventually left to a long, wide, deep lake that was as dark as the night itself. The water was shimmering, reflecting the moonlight onto the castle which made it more stunning than before. He then asked them all to climb on these boats, in groups of 4's, and he would direct them to the castle entrance.

They all climbed into a boat and sailed across the lake. Chloe's biggest fear was water so she sat closer to Draco than she normally would; Draco knowing how nervous she gets took her hand in reassurance. Once they climbed out of the boats, they made their way to the entrance hall. The entrance hall was wide and long. The walls had beautiful architect with intricate patterns dancing across the hall. They were waiting for about five minutes when a women with a thick Scottish accent and flowing emerald robes came out and said in a clear voice 'Please wait here in silence until I get back.' And she took off through the large, bronze doors.

They were moments away from our futures being decided. Chloe just prayed to merlin she would get slytherin.
