Sarah's POV
Before I realised it was getting late I made my way home. Through the dark tunnel, past the towering trees and straight back to hell. The sun had set leaving the stars and moon to light up the night sky. It was beautiful. I carried on gazing at the stars not watching where I was walking.
Until a sudden force pushed me back. A sharp pain bolted through my body. I tried to pull myself up to see what it was I got hit by.
"Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay. Argh I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was riding my bike." A deep voice carried on talking.
"Are you show it wasn't a truck you hit me with?" I replied sarcastically trying to mock him.
I tried to get back up and he rushed to help me.  He had dark curly hair and lightly tanned skin. "Are you hurt anywhere a broken bone... or... anything." I shook myself to see if I was alright. "Maybe a few bruises but besides that no broken bones."
We stood there silently staring into each other's eyes.
I shook my head and muttered confusingly, "I'm... errr... gonna...err...go now." I walked past him and started walking quickly.
"Hey!"
I looked back at him waiting for an answer.
"Do you... want me to...erm...walk you home?"
I could see he felt guilty it was written all over his face.
"No I live just across the street." I smiled pointing at a house. I could feel my heart racing.
"Bye."
"Yeh bye," he replied.
I carried on walking home. I had lied I didn't live across the street. I was about 10 minutes away from home. But he didn't have to know.

I was home. Before opening the door I took a deep breath in and out. I placed my hand on the door knob and opened. I was hoping my parents had gone to bed. But obviously they were sat there waiting for me. I saw how concerned they looked. Which was a first.

"Where were you? And do not say with your friends because we rung them and they said they hadn't seen you since you left!"

"I went out."

"Couldn't you have told us or at least answered your phone!"

"My phone died and anyway I didn't think you cared." I know they saw me go out so I wasn't sure what any of this was actually about.

"Sarah we do care," my father stated in a concerned voice.

"Get to your room now and you don't leave without our permission!" My mum yelled as her voice echoed throughout the house .

I turned around and bolted straight for the stairs. It had been a long day and I couldn't wait for it to be over.
I had my night routine and I jumped into bed. Feeling guilty, I picked up my phone and texted Mia and Jasmine apologising for my behaviour earlier on. We talked for hours. Mia mentioned meeting a guy. I told them about my odd encounter with the guy I had met too. It all seemed weird.
I lay there thinking about him. Who was he?
I'd never seen him before and I know everyone in my area and he I was not familiar with. There was something about him I felt it. It was odd. I tried to close my eyes and fall asleep as I knew tomorrow was school and I was dreading it.
