Eleven and Mike

Chapter 1: Eleven escapes

"Not stupid" Eleven said as she stepped over a trip wire and was out of the woods walking into the road. She heard voices coming from the distance. There was Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas.

"El" Mike was saying walking to her. "Mike" she said smiling. They were quiet for a minute. "Well you going to ask her or stand there?" Lucas asked upsetting.

"Oh! So there's this cheesy dance at our school called the Snow Ball and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" Mike asked.

Eleven nodded. "Oh and we're also going to my house, wanna come?" He asked. She nodded again. Mike and Eleven were holding hands walking to his house.

An hour passed and Hopper was walking to the house. The door and the curtains were opened. "Kid?" He was calling Eleven through the house. No response came from her.

Eleven was sitting on Mike's bed quiet. "Mike?" She asked. "Yeah" he asked walking towards her. "I umm have to go..." she said getting up.

Eleven was walking through the woods back to the house till she heard more voices. A twelve, maybe thirteen year old and his sister came walking up to her. "Hey umm you okay? You lost? We can take you back to our house" the boy was saying.

She was quiet. The boy snapped to get Eleven's attention. Eleven distracted him by making a branch fall. The boy's sister got his attention. They looked at the ground and back where Eleven was standing but she was gone.

Eleven walked in and Hopper was sitting on the couch covering his face. "Where have you been?" He asked. She was silent. Hopper slammed his hand on the table and got up. "Huh?" "Where have you been?!"

Eleven got scared and couldn't answer. Hopper was about to scream his lungs out. He started to walk to her till Eleven moved her hand to block him with the couch. "Hey! What the hell is wrong with you?" She stormed to her room slamming the door behind her not even touching it.
