The Ghost and The Soul-Taker

Chanyeol woke up one day and realized his body is missing. His soul left his body and now he's nowhere to go.

He asked for help from other ghosts around an apartment building but they look really creepy.

Suddenly a bright guy singing on his way home came. It was Chen. They made an eye contact and made Chen to stop walking.

"Who are you?" Chen asked. "I'm Chanyeol. Wait. You can see me?!" he startled.

"Please help me. I need to look for my body. I just woke up this morning and now I'm a ghost." Chanyeol explained.

Chen couldn't do anything but to help him first by giving him a safe shelter. They get to know each other and soon became friends and then best friends.

One moonless night, a visitor came to Chen's apartment. It was the soul-taker Baekhyun. "Chanyeol~" he sung while playing on his ax. "I heard from the ghosts I took outside that this is your hiding place." he chuckled.

Chanyeol hid inside the bathroom and held the shower close to him. He breathed calmly so he won't be heard.

"Chanyeol~" Baekhyun kept singing.
"YAH CHANYEOL!" he shouted when he got bored from their hide and seek.

Chen woke up from his noise, "What are you doing here? I'm not Chanyeol." he said.

Baekhyun got surprised, "A human could see me?" Chen rolled his eyes, "I can see all supernatural beings. And I know what they're afraid of."

The soul-taker stepped back and gulped, "Are you gonna kill me tonight?" he asked with a shaky voice.

"I won't. If you promise me that you won't take Chanyeol to the Judge of Souls." Chen smirked.

Baekhyun looked as if he was tricked. "Fine. I won't take Chanyeol." he sat on the couch and crossed his arms on his chest.

"Where's the magic word? I haven't heard it from your mouth yet." Chen teased. Baekhyun pouted and said, "Promise."

Chanyeol went out from the bathroom and jumped around Baekhyun. "That's a promise! That's a promise!"

Few days after they met, the ghost and the soul-taker became best friends. Whenever Chen goes to the market to buy some food, his two friends are always with him.

Sometimes Baekhyun comes home late because of his duty. Chanyeol still bothers about his missing body.

Because Chen sleeps on the couch, the ghost and the soul-taker sleeps at the floor with a blanket as their mattress.

Sometimes Baekhyun is being reminded by his workmates that he has to take Chanyeol. He's being tempted but Chen always makes a way. Chanyeol makes him laugh and Baekhyun loves it.

One lazy afternoon, Chanyeol and Chen were playing video games because Baekhyun had to go somewhere else.

"Baekhyun, you've been inactive for months. What's happening to you? You have to get all the wandering lost souls everywhere you go." the highest ranking soul-taker told him.

"I'm sorry." Baekhyun murmured.

"I saw him being so friendly with a lost soul." Baekhyun's rival when it comes to taking souls said.

"Baekhyun is it true?" their master asked.

"That's not true! Why would I befriend a ghost? He must've been drunk that day he saw me and got the wrong idea. I was taking that soul!" Baekhyun lied.

Baekhyun went home with a smirk but turned into a frown when he saw Chanyeol who is waiting at the balcony. "Baekhyun!" he greeted.

"Should I take Chanyeol to the Judge of Souls?" he thought. Chanyeol hugged him tight, "What happened? Are you okay?"

Baekhyun pouted, "I'm confused right now." They sat on the floor while looking at the stars above them. "Is it about me?" Chanyeol asked.

Baekhyun took a deep breath and said, "They want me to get you and bring you there to be judged."

Chanyeol smiled, "I'm fine with it... As long as it's you who would take me." he said, "I already lose my hope of finding my body. So I think it's okay if you take me."

Baekhyun felt sad, "I don't want to. I'd rather lose my job and be a normal ghost than lose my best friend."

Chen came and hit them with a pillow. "Who's leaving? No one's gonna leave me alone." he chuckled.

"Aigooo~ these two love birds planning for a mating season behind my back." he teased as he walked away going back to the couch.
