Gryffindor vs Slytherin

Firstly the chapters in this story are going to get a bit longer so I can fit more in them. Secondly, small bit of bullying again but it won't last long this time. I'm sorry, the bullying will stop before or at the end of this year (there school one) but speaking from experience no bully stops immediatley. They just sort of become less intense before giving up. Thirdly, next chapter I might have Luke try and bully a Slytherin first year but he stands up for them and blah blah blah Missy and Pranks are first years and Virgil becomes like their big brother. Sound good?

Patton's P.O.V~

It was the morning of the first Quidditch match of the year. Gryffindor vs Slytherin. With Virgil, Roman and Terrence being members of their teams house everyone in our group put bets on who would win. I obviously voted for Virgil. Logan for Roman and Terrence. Talyn and Joan disagreed with Talyn betting on Virgil and Joan on the other two. Thomas didn't know enough about the game to bet this time. But did agree to betting on their next one.

We were all sat at our respective tables in the Great Hall. Virgil as always wasn't eating much. I saw him pick at a piece of toast and that was it. I managed to make eye contact with him and pointed at his plate. I saw him sigh and pick up 2 pieces of toast. I know that's all he'll feel comfortable with especially today so I smile at him. He smiles back softly. Not long after I see a note fly over my head and drop onto the table infront of him. He looks up at me questioningly. I shake my head. Turning around to see who sent it I see Roman smile at me so facing back to Virgil I lean slightly so he can see Roman, who is talking with Terrence again. He nods quickly before opening it.

Virgil's P.O.V~

I look down from Patton and unfold the letter.

'Hey Kitten, good luck today. Although we are totally gonna win. But just remember to have fun I don't want you to not enjoy yourself. See you out there Roman. Xx

P.S. Terrence also says that we are gonna win but says good luck too.'

I find my self smirking at the note. Looking up I see that Roman is watching me. I tilt my head to the side smirking while holding up the note. 'Don't get too cocky Pretty Boy.' I mouth. He must have understood it or got the jist because he raises an eyebrow and leans back. Looking back to Patton I see he's a bit confused so I send the note over to him so he can read it. Almost instantly he's smiling like an idiot before looking up at me. He jots something down on it and sends it back to me. Before it reaches me someone snatches it out of the air. I look at who took it. Luke. He opens up the note before anyone can stop him. Roman and Patton are considerably angry already. "Let's see what notes the freak is getting." He says just loud enough so that everyone can hear him but he's not shouting. I can feel tears build up in my eyes. As soon as he starts reading I can feel myself start panicking. I try to stand up to find my legs frozen. I try again just before he gets to Patton's note and manage to run out the hall. Some laughs followed me out but mostly I could feel people staring sadly at me. The last thing I heard before the door slams was a thud. Not wanting to stick around I run to where the brooms are kept. I'm not expecting them to be there but I need somehere to escape to. I hear the door slam again as I get down the castle steps but don't turn around to see who it is. I don't get very far through the courtyard before someone grabs onto my arm. They spin me around so that if my eye's were open I'd be facing them. I flinched expecting it to be Luke or one of his friends. When the person pulls me into a tight hug I open my eye's to see a yellow and black tie. "Patton?" I hear a group of footsteps run up to us. Patton lets me go slightly. My eye's still sting with tears that haven't fallen yet. Patton pulls me back into a hug and whispers into my ear not to hold back. I allow some of the tears to escape before sniffing the rest back in. "I'm okay now really..." I look towards Terrence and Roman. "We should get going we all need to get in to kit right?" The two nod at me. We wave goodbye to the others before I have to split off and go to the different waiting/changing room. The rest of my team is already there. The captain comes up to me. "You've got some strong friends. Come on. Let's show that idiot from the Great Hall what Slytherin's can do yeah?" I nod as the rest of the team cheer. "Go get changed. Don't worry the Gryffindor seeker isn't nearly as good with a broom as you even though she has her own." I smile and change into my kit. Once I'm changed we wait for the match to begin.
