Chapter Five: Blushing?

JULES

We pulled up to curb in front of my house. I unlocked the car doors and stepped out, slamming the car door shut behind me. Following me was Anna, Jack, and Alex. I still can't believe Anna let them come to our house and band practice. Dustin and Darryl only know that I hate them. What are they going to think? Darryl is the bassist in our band. He's also Dustin's older brother. Darryl is more of a bad boy. He's the most immature boy when it comes to girls. More immature than Jack, which is bad. I walked up the stone path and unlocked the door. Agma and Black came running as usual. I bent down and picked Agma up then scratched her chin. "Last one closes the door." I said and walked to the living room.

I sat down on the couch and set Agma next to me. She purred and rubbed against my arm. Anna came strolling in and behind her were Jack and Alex. "I'm guessing Alex closed the door?" I said. "Yup." She replied and flopped one seat away from me, making Agma meow and run away. Alex sat between us and Jack sat beside Anna. Our couch is big. Alex put his feet up on the coffee table. "Hey. Feet down Sasquatch." I snapped. "Rules already?" He groaned and removed his feet from the table. "Yes." I responded. There was a awkward silence for a minute before Anna spoke. "You should show Alex your bedroom and I'll show Jack mine." She suggested. I rolled my eyes, "Fine. I'm not arguing because I'm sick of it."

I walked to the back of the couch and slapped the back of Alex's head. "What was that for?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head. "Come on." I responded. "Oh and Anna. Keep your door open. You never know what Jack will pull." I said and walked down the stairs.

ALEX

I followed Jules down the stairs and she opened her door to reveal her room. She wasn't kidding when she said she had a lot posters. One wall was completely covered with My Chemical Romance posters and pictures of Gerard Way. The wall next to it was covered with random bands and singers such as Falling In Reverse, Of Mice & Men, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Emily Kinney, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and many more. The next wall had posters from TV shows like The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Gossip Girl, and more. Then the last wall was half filled with posters of The Pretty Reckless and the other half was filled with concert tickets.

She seen me looking weirdly at the Gossip Girl posters. "I have an odd obsession with Gossip Girl. Don't ask and don't tell anybody." She said and sat on her bed. "Oh. Okay." I said and walked over to look at her concert tickets. Some of the bands and singers she seen was Marilyn Manson at The Rave in Wisconsin, The Pretty Reckless here in Baltimore, Warped Tour 2012 and 2013, Asking Alexandria at The Rave in Wisconsin, Of Mice & Men in Baltimore, and more. "I'm also going to Warped Tour 2014." She said. "Cool." Was all I said. Just as I was about to walk away from the wall I seen one ticket that surprised me. Like, a lot. "Hey Jules." I said.

"What?"

"Um, you have a ticket that says All Time Low." I said shocked. She instantly stood up, walked over, and stopped in front of me blocking me from reading anymore. "I just got that ticket from my guy friend, Darryl." She said. I narrowed my eyes at her, "Does your guy friend go to our school?" I asked. "No. He goes to school with Dustin. He's also his older brother." She responded. I searched her hazel eyes to make sure she was telling the truth. "S-stop staring at me." She blushed and lowered her head. I blinked a couple times, "Were you blushing?" I asked shocked. "Ew no, Why would I be blushing because you were staring at me? Ew." She said with her head still lowered.

"No, I'm pretty sure you were blushing." I stated. She scoffed in disgust and shoved me then walked to her closet. She came out holding a box with makeup in it and some different clothes. "Get out I need to get dressed." She said setting down the things on her bed and pushing me out of the room and slamming the door. "Rude." I muttered.
