Chloe's lips started at my bare chest down beneath my belly button. I tightly gripped the sheets in pleasure, moaning as her head moved lower. Her naked body colliding, slowly, with mine. Her tongue began to move in and out of me. I began to tear up. I won't have this anymore after tonight. Chloe won't have anyone left. Rachel won't be here anymore. And I'll be...

"Max?" Chloe stopped, whispering at my direction.

"Why did you stop?" I tried to sound normal.

"Girls don't cry when they have sex. What's wrong?"

I wiped away my tears as if they were never there. "Nothing. I'm fine." Chloe grabbed my hands, pulling me up into a sitting position.

"You can tell me anything, remember?"

"I wish I could, Chloe." I whispered in her ear. She pressed her forehead against mine, moving her hands up and down my arms. U pressed my lips against hers, moving my hands along her shoulder blades.

Chloe began to grab at my bare chest. She grabbed me so hard I felt like I was being pushed away. We separated so we could breathe. I began to cry again. "Max what the fuck is wrong with you?" Chloe looked at me with worry.

"I just...I don't want to lose you Chloe!" I began to sob, "I can't. I don't want to leave you alone. I can't live without you!" She began to hug me as I sobbed into her bare shoulder.

"Max, you will never lose me. Ever. I will always be here for you. No matter what my mom, what David, or even Rachel, or what anybody else says or thinks." She gently pulled me off her shoulder, "Look at me Max. I love you. I always have and I always will." Chloe left a kiss on my cheek.

I guess she was right. Nothing matters right now. But I am a danger to Arcadia Bay. To my friends. To the world. To Chloe.

We lay down as I cried in her arms. Are naked bodies intertwined and she pulled the sheet over us, laying one more kiss on my lips. We fell asleep.

I got myself dressed, Chloe still lying naked in bed. I walked downstairs to see Rachel sitting on the couch, casually looking at her phone. She glanced up at me, but didn't say anything.

"Hey." I sat down next to her.

"I heard you and Chloe last night."

My eyes widened, "What do you mean?"

"Sobbing and heartfelt comments aside, I know what sex sounds like, genious."

"Sorry...?" I didn't know how to respond.

She let out a heavy sigh, "Don't be. I'm glad Chloe found someone better after I left. I'm actually glad that that someone was you."

"Did you...?"

"Have a crush on Chloe? Yeah. I did. But that was then. She moved on. I didn't come back to fall in love, okay? I came back to fix this fucking mess you created."

"The mess I created?" I gawked at her, "Incase you've forgotten you used me as a scapegoat. I didn't choose this power!"

"That was my last mistake. I should've just let it die with me. I thought that if I gave it to someone else, they could save Chloe, but what you've done with it...what we've done with it...it's not good."

"I know." I scooted closer to her direction, "I understand what you've been through."

"Do you? Being known as the highschool slut is different than being known as a geek. Sorry, Max. You don't know me at all. I continuously live with guilt, especially now since Jefferson is still out there."

"Can you explain this to me? I'm confused as to how..."

"Shut up and I'll talk." Rachel pulled her knees to her chest. "I did die in your timeline. But in this timeline I rewound time so I could escape from Jefferson's bunker. The reason I died in your timeline is because it took me so long to get you both here. You two are aware of the events in both timelines. That body you found was me, but not me. If you get it."

"I do. You're from this timeline and not ours." I paused, letting her breathe, "Continue."

"Since I escaped from Jefferson he went all psycho trying to look for me. I told the police which is why they're after him because I didn't want him to get in the way. They still haven't caught him, but I'm not worrying about him too much. It was really difficult to get you guys here. I went back to your timeline but I was fading because I wasn't alive in your reality. Plus Warren got in the way and dragged you to his room."

"So how did you manage to get us back here?"

"Messing around with time was my final solution. Though it's going to bring the fucking storm, it doesn't matter because we're going to fix it, right?"

"Right. But what about Chloe."

"Don't worry about Chloe. Max this might not even kill you."

"What?" I gasped.

"If you don't die, you'll most likely lose memory. Without your memory your power is useless, not mention if you for one second have an 'out of body' experience your power will fade. The power won't go to anyone. It fades with you."

"How do you know all of this if you gave your power to me?"

"Look I only gave it to you because I thought you could fix things with Chloe. But that brought on the storm and..."

"What are you two talking about?" Chloe appeared downstairs in nothing but underwear and a tank top.

"Nothing." I answered.

"Whatever. Want to grab breakfast at the 'Two Whales'?"

"Sure, Chloe." I stood up. As Chloe ran back upstairs to get dressed.

"Max, we don't have time. It's Thursday, we need to get this done." Rachel whispered, clutching my wrist.

"It's Thursday already?" Shit. "Can this wait until after breakfast?"

"Fine." She got up, letting go of my wrist, "fine."

"Nothing is better than free food right?" Chloe grinned, quickly glancing at me.

"You said it." I giggled. I looked back at Rachel who sat in the back of the truck. I felt kinda bad, but she didn't seem to mind.

Chloe pulled to a stop at a familiar fence gate. We got out of the truck and she went to go help Rachel out of the back, "Welcome back to our secret hideout, Ms. Amber." She laughed.

"Nostalgia. Nothing has changed, has it?" Rachel looked around the yard, smiling. I went up behind her and patted her back, her face lit up. "Does Frank still hang around here?" She looked at Chloe.

"Who knows where he lives nowadays?" I thought Chloe would've blown up at her, but she kept her cool. Good Chloe.

At the corner of my eye I saw a familiar car pull up to the gate. Jefferson. He must've followed us from the Two Whales, or something.

"Chloe, we need to go." I grabbed both Rachel and Chloe's hand, trying to run, but Chloe let go.

I stopped and and turned to see her pulling out a pistol. I panicked I didn't want to lose her again, not now. She hid behind a wrecked car, "Go, take Rachel!"

I took Rachel back to her old hide out. "Max, you need to do it now! Where's the photo?"

"It's in my camera bag," I paused, "dammit, I left it in the truck."

"What?" She looked out to see of Jefferson had gotten out of his car. "Oh my god."

"What what's wrong?"

"You didn't hear gunshots, right?" She started to panic, "Because she never loaded the gun."

"How do you know that?"

"The bullets are in the garage!"

"You mean she never took any? Rachel, what happened?" I rushed to her side, looking out the small window.

"He took Chloe."
