How come all the tears I cry they are all for me?
All the others, all my friends I see seem to be perfect.
They seem to be worth it.
When we are all the same.
We share our pain.
We have equal shame.
And are all mundane.
How come I cannot accept that you have many regrets.
And that I'm not the only one unfortunate.
My mouth will not share my secrets,
Afraid you'll go against it,
Afraid you won't understand at all.
Here is where I fall.
I know I need to listen to my heart,
Not the voices in my mind,
But what if I forget my line?
What if I speak at the wrong time?
I cannot trust those around will be kind.
I always have the thought that I'm incapable,
My future is made and it is unshakeable.
I can't help, but follow this road that seems unchangeable.
Here I stand between two paths.
One could lead to happiness the other one to wrath.
Either way by struggle I'll be attacked.
No castle, house, or earthly thing can stay intact,
And protect me from this cruel world.
My story is being unfurled.
By this very moment our fate is being whirled,
Around and around, to the ground is where we fall,
But soil helps us grow tall.
Then, we know that we are all the same,
We share our pain,
We have equal shame,
And are all mundane.
