The master and diciple

He lifted the hood back, and the darkness covering his face faded. He had a calm but determined expression on his face.

"But first you need to rest, I will show you to your rooms and then wake you up in the morning to begin you training" He gave me a pat on the shoulder and headed towards a tunnel that was to my 10 a clock, if u had the entrance tunnel to your back, it not being to hard to recognize since it was the only one with a door.

We walked into the dark tunnel, and he took my hand again leading me up some stairs for a while but this time he was holding a little globe that was giving off the same light as the ceiling in the lobby. The faint light illuminated the smooth gray walls but somehow gave it a homey feeling. As we reached the top of the stairs, we arrived into a square room, housing several beds in 2 rows, 1 row each against the wall, they all seemed to be in good condition, weird, there was nothing left in the lobby from whatever was there before.

"I guess the fighting never went up here." The man said with almost a sad expression on his face leading me to one of the beds in the far most corner

"You can sleep here." He opened the chest at the feet of the bed, inside was white clothes and some knifes and books. "And wear these in the morning, he handed me the white clothing, brown leather belts, boots and wrist guards. The white clothes was almost like his, but without the fine embroidery and the color, Mine was just a plain white with black stripes.

"This is the clothes of a novice in the guild, they should suit you for now." With that he gave me the clothes turned around and walked to the exit.

"Sleep tight, ill wake you in the morning." He said as he walked down the stairs. He left the light globe on a low shelf in the room, so I wouldn't be in complete darkness.

I put the clothes on top of the chest as I laid mine on the floor before getting into the clean but simple bed. Square and solid bed posts made out of wood, thin madras on what appeared be to laid on some sort of thick string weaved a little like a hammock but much tighter and my weight didn't whey it down much. The sheets pillow and blanket was all gray but very warm and nice on the skin. I barley had time to notice how tired I was before I drifted away into a world of dreams.

I woke up with the man gently shaking me.

"Eat some of this and meet me downstairs." He put a large platter of dried meat and fish with a cup of water next to the bed and headed back down again and as soon as I finished the meal I followed him down, using the globe so I could see and didn't trip down the stairs.

I walked out into the round room, the man standing in the middle.

"Hope you had a good night sleep." He smiled as he saw me wearing the outfit. "It fits you, now follow me into the training room."

He started walking towards the tunnel next to the one that went to the sleeping quarters, but this tunnel was lit, I looked up and I saw globes fitted into the ceiling all giving up a faint glow, but enough to light the tunnel to see. After some walking we made it into a huge square room, only the start in which we were standing was lit, light orbs being placed on the ground, didn't this room have one of those light ceilings was my first thought.

I noticed how the part of the wall I could see had big marks and cracks in it, even big holes in some places, what could have caused this sort of destruction on solid stone.

"So this is where we will having our training for a wile, so far I've only managed to light this small part of the room, but eventually we will get more space to train in." he was also looking at some of the cracks, running his hand over some of them.

"How are those globes giving of light now but not when we arrived." the man must have done something to them

"You need to give them a little boost of energy to get them working, so I tried lighting the part we would be using today. Here take a seat we will be doing some theory work today." He motioned towards 2 pillows he had placed on the ground, and I sat down with him.
