Like Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, and many other great men, will he realize the African dream? The novel is a general fiction and compilation of love, distrusts, greed, adventures and betrayal, and insightful descriptions and philosophies about Africa. It involves a long and epic journey of Sumowood Alkebulan, a dreamer who remains committed and dedicated to uniting Africa from in his small hometown, Afrika. Afrika lies in the middle of Africa, although rich in abundance, the small fertile land is rotten to the core and faces enormous challenges from the hands of dictators and greedy folks. Sumo will transition from a Lawyer to a Freedom Fighter, and intend going extra miles in his quest to expand his dream from in his small hometown to the African continent. Will his dream ever come true? Find out from the story! A/N: This story is still a draft and is not yet edited. Chapter I looks sort of awkward, maybe not too good, but I am very sure that you will find the other chapters very entertaining. Tahara wanderte vor drei Jahren von Afrika nach England aus, wo sie Dave kennenlernte. Kurz vor ihrer fast-Verlobung beschloss sie, noch ein letztes Mal in ihre ursprüngliche Heimat zu reisen um Abschied von ihr zu nehmen. Doch kaum angekommen, lernt sie den mysteriösen Nala kennen; der ein großes Geheimnis mit sich trägt, das auch sie betrifft. Sie ist ein Engel. Prolog: Afrika. Endlich wieder in Afrika. Wie schön die Nacht hier doch ist, schöner als alles andere. Ich höre Grillen, wie sie zirpen, Mücken, die umher schwirren, ein junger Löwe, der um den Garten schleicht. Ich stehe auf der Veranda des Hauses meiner Mutter. Hier bin ich aufgewachsen, und hier gehöre ich hin. Dumpfe Schritte kommen näher. “Tahara,” sagt Laurent ruhig, ”was machst du denn so spät noch hier. Willst du nicht schlafen gehen?”. Ich blicke über meine Schulter hinweg zu ihm, ”Ach, ich bin einfach so glücklich, wieder hier zu sein. England ist zwar ein tolles Land- aber unvergleichlich zu Afrika.” rede ich mich raus. Naja, so gelogen ist es nun auch nicht. Was ich da eben sagte, stimmt. Aber ich muss einen freien Kopf kriegen. Wissen, was richtig und was falsch ist. Laurent durchschaut mich und lächelt, ”ist es Nala?” fragt er. Ich nicke nur. Nala. Ein Engel, ein böser Engel. Und wie es das Schicksal will, bin ich auch einer. So weit, so gut. Aber muss ich denn ein guter sein? Vielleicht ist es ja auch nur ein Zeichen dafür, das ich nicht hier her gehöre. Sondern nach England, zu Dave. Mein treuer Dave. Ich schaudere. “Was soll ich nur tun?” flüstere ich, die Frage eher an mich gerichtet, ”was, wenn ich Nala wirklich liebe? Aber Dave… wie könnte ich ihm das antun? Wiederrum ist Nala böse…” Ich könnte heulen. Laurent stellt sich neben mich und legt mir tröstlich den Arm um die Schulter, und wir lauschen der Umgebung.

Dominic was living in Londen.
