why did i act like that yesterday?
i don't have feelings for him anymore, right?
but why can't i stop worrying about him too much?

I turned off my phone when our teacher finally arrived at the classroom. Yes, I looked at our messages since Daehwi messaged me that we'll meet at the library at dismissal. I don't even understand myself why I happen to act like that. I wanted to break up with him in the first place but now, it seems like I never wanted to. I just sighed and tried to brush it off by listening to the discussion of our subject teacher.

Luckily, since our classes were only half day, we got to go home early. It was finally dismissal and I passed by Daehwi's classroom. I was supposed to wait for him but no one was in their classroom anymore. As always, they would be dismissed earlier than us. I messaged Daehwi to let him know I'm going to the library.

Even though, he hasn't seen it yet or even reply to it, I'm still going to head to the library. As I entered, I looked around and searched for him but I couldn't find him so I'm guessing, he's still not here.

I put my bag on a seat and I checked my phone. Daehwi had seen my message but he hasn't replied. I just sighed and looked around the shelves to find a book I might like.

A book caught my interest and it was a novel that Daehwi had read. I've been planning to read it but I didn't have time to do so. I was about to grab it but another hand did too. I looked at the person and to my surprise, it was Daehwi. There he stood while holding another book on this other hand.

"If you're going to take that book, take it then," he smiled at me.

"Where were you?" I took the book then started walking with him towards the table I saved for us and I saw his bag on the seat next to mine.

"I helped Woojin with something so I took long. I'm sorry if I didn't reply to your message," he told me and I just sighed.

"You made me worry," I pouted and he giggled.

"Just like what I told you yesterday, don't worry too much," he ruffled my hair and I fixed it right after.

I opened the book and then started reading it. From time to time, I would glance at Daehwi and I would catch him looking at the book I'm reading. Everytime I would, he would look at his book again and read.

I looked at him once again and I noticed that he closed the book he was reading then put it down on the table. He was peeking on my book and so, I scooted closer to him. This took him by surprise and I put the book on the table at the middle of us. It was awkward at first but we became comfortable later on.

The school library was about to close so I put the book I borrowed back on the shelf I took it from. Daehwi and I went out and then we started walking towards his house. We came across an ice cream shop then he pulled me inside.

I thought Daehwi was just going to buy one for himself. I wasn't supposed to pick a flavor but he insisted on buying me one also and so I did. We sat on a table and started eating the dessert.

Daehwi finished his and then stared at mine, which wasn't finished yet. I took a spoonful of ice cream and pointed my spoon at him. His eyes widened then he moved forward and ate it then smiled after. I just chuckled then started to finish the ice cream.

We got out then continued walking to his house. When we arrived, he stood at the porch of their house and I waved at him. I turned around to go but he grabbed my wrist, causing me to face him.

I got surprised, he leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. He smiled at me then ran inside his house and closed the door. Since it was shocking for me, I stood there for a minute while staring at their door. I held the cheek where he kissed me and a smile suddenly formed on my lips. My face turned red and I walked towards the direction of my house.
