Helen dialed a number on her mobile phone. "Hello"
"What took you so long?"
"What?!"
"Meet me at Purana Pul at 10:30 p.m. tomorrow night. And come alone, or I won't meet you."
"What?"
"What do you mean by 'what'? What's there to not understand?"
"Is this Vinay Nair?"
"Of course this is Vinay Nair, and you are Helen Karmarkar, and you want to meet me about your sister's death and my occupation of your house."
Helen did not speak.
"So I'm asking you what took you so long and telling you I'll meet you at Purana Pul at 10:30 p.m. tomorrow night, and since you haven't declined, I take it that you will come."
Vinay cut the phone.
"Hello?!"
