Camerons mom, Gina & I are currently looking for apartments, Cam is in class & I had to take off because getting an apartment is extremely important before the baby comes.
"I want something close to school, but something that we can call a home," I smile as Gina nods & smiles.
"I can't believe I'm having a little baby grandson."
I'm five months along, I'm so happy that my baby is healthy & active, I get sharp pains in my lower stomach but it's probably nothing to worry about, my doctor doesn't know but I'm pretty sure he would say it's nothing.
We finally get to an apartment complex about ten minutes from campus, the complex is beautiful. The aesthetic is green & tan, Palm tees, it's just super cute,
"I know you guys are young. You're not married, but you're having a child. it's important to have a place where you guys are safe. not a dorm. so I know it'll be hard for you guys to do everything, & pay everything so I'll be helping you guys because I understand the struggle of being young &I having a child. I love you lots Beth, although your mother is not on board, you can always count on me." She smiles as she embraces me.
I smile & a tear begins running down my face. she's been so supportive through all of this.
"We can't look at the apartment since I have work soon but I sent you some pictures so you & cam can look at them. it's two bedroom & super roomy. I hope you guys like it." She smiles as she drives back to campus.
"Thank you so much. I'll let you know what Cameron says." I smile.
We finally get to campus as we hug & say our goodbyes. I get inside into the elevator when a wind of hot hair hits my body roughly. I feel light headed & my body is warm. I get to Cam's room & lay down quickly, I grab my phone as I see texts from cam.
cam: hey baby, I'm done in ten. I'll be up in my room soon. I miss you
beth: I'm here, I'm not feeling well so I'm just resting. I think we have an apartment, I'm pretty sure your mom got it because she knew we were gonna love it.
cam: I'm on my way, I'm so happy about this. moms awesome
The door opens, as Cameron walks in & throws his books on his desk.
"You okay?" He asks as I stand up & embrace him.
"I'm okay." I smile as I kiss his lips.
"How's my son doing?" He smiles as he kneels down kissing my huge bump.
"I love you so much. you're gonna be so spoiled." He smiles up at me.
"I still cannot believe I'm having a son with the most beautiful woman in the world." He smiles as I kiss him back to back.
Cam's phone rings, meaning he got a text.
"It's my mom." He says.
mom: hey son, I know you probably know I already got the apartment because I know there's not other place that feels like home to me is this one. I want my grandson & daughter in law to feel special & happy in their place along with my precious son, I love you guys so much. I left the keys in beths bag when she went to pee for the 100th time at the gas station. enjoy a new journey!
I begin to cry instantly. Everything is just amazing.
"I can't." Cameron tears up also.
"We have an apartment. Our first apartment." I smile as we hug tightly.
"Let's go!" He smiles as he grabs my hand & his keys quickly.
We get to his car & drive ten minutes to the complex.
"This is nice." He smiles as we get off.
"Apartment 3b" He says as we walk two feet & there it is.
I grab the key & turn it open, The sun is shining so bright inside, marble kitchen, tan walls, white floors. It's gorgeous.
"This is great," He smiles as looks around.
"Let's start tomorrow. Let's get things tomorrow." He smiles.
"Let's start a new chapter." I smile embracing my future husband,
