Cameron's Pov//
"Oh hello honey!" My mom smiles uncontrollably as both Beth & I enter my old home.
"Hi mom" I smile as I embrace her holding Beth & I's luggage.
It's only a couple days. Maybe three, it's a wedding & usually there's alot of clothes that we both bring.
"Mom this is Bethany." I say as Beth smiles as my mom embraces Beth into a hug also.
"It's great to finally meet you, I've heard so much." My mom smiles.
"Your room is next to Cameron's. Its probably a bad idea!" She laughs leading up the stairs.
"My room is the exact same since I left to college." I smile as Beth walks admiring all the old baseball stuff I was obsessed over.
"So this is Bethany's room." My mom smiles leading me to my sister's old room.
"This is lovely." Beth smiles setting down her bag.
"Make yourself at home. I'll be downstairs making dinner."
I close the door sitting next to Beth. She looks over at me & smile lightly.
"Where's your sister?" She asks.
"She has a family. I'm the only one left to have one yet. Probably way after she had her first kid." I chuckle.
Beth stands up with her hands in her pockets. She reaches over to grab something out of her bag, the door widely opens.
Chris. My long time bestfriend since kids. I quickly stand up embracing him into a hug. I haven't him since I've left. Almost three years now.
"What's good?" He smiles as we pull apart.
"Nothing much, class. How about you bro. It's been so long?" I say.
He points over at Beth with a wink.
"That's my girlfriend. Don't try it" I laugh as I grab Beth's hand.
"Bethany." She laughs as she extends her hand.
"Chris." He smirks.
"Alright so are you staying for the wedding tomorrow? What's up." I ask.
"Yeah, your mom called so I thought I should come & chill with you guys. Maybe go out tonight?" He says.
I look over at Beth with a light smile.
"You guys go. I'll stay here with Gina. I'm pretty tired actually." She smiles.
We got here pretty late also. It's about seven, we were suppose to be here around four but Beth is feeling sick so she slept all day.
"I'll call you when I'm coming home. I love you." I say as I quickly kiss her lips grabbing my phone.
"Bye. Love you too." She weakly smiles walking down the stairs with us.
"Hey mom, I'm going out with Chris. Beth is tired so she wanted to stay with you." I say, she smiles over at Beth & nods her head.
"Be careful Cam." My mom says as both Chris & I walk to his car.
"So you & Bethany serious?" He asks starting his engine.
"Yeah for the most part. We were apart for a little." I say as I text Beth.
I miss you already. I'll be home in no time, I wanna catch up with some old friends. You don't have to stay up if you don't want too.
I put my phone back in my back pocket as he looks over to me.
"Dude you're acting like you've been married for years, let loose." He laughs as I look out the window.
"No it's not like that. She seems off, I just wanna make sure she's okay. Maybe with meeting my mom she's understanding that it's getting serious."
"Probably. She can be going through some stuff, school can be tough." He says glancing over at me.
I nodd as a buzz from my back pocket buzzes quickly. It's Beth.
It's fine cam, enjoy yourself. I'll just be here chilling with your mom 😊
I smile because she seems to be getting alone with my mom. I love this girl. She's great. I just want her to open up to me more.
"We're here" Chris smiles as he parks.
"A bar?" I roll my eyes.
"Dude yeah, this bar's just not a regular bar. There's some baddies too?" He brags as we both close the car doors.
"Nah not for me, I gotta baddie at home?" I smile as we enter the bar.
"Nah bro, for me?" He laughs as we both sit at the bar.
Seconds after we sit out friends come walk towards us with smiles. Its been so long man. I miss these guys.
"Dallas!" They yell as we all handshake.
"What's up guys?" I say, as they sit beside us.
"Nothing much, how about you college boy? Any hooking up & getting wasted?" They laugh as drinks are being served left & right.
"Nah. I gotta girlfriend. Used to though." I lift up my beer & chugging it down.
"No way, Dallas is settled down?" They laugh.
"She's bad as fuck too?" Chris laughs, I look over at him with a death stare as he lifts up his hands laughing.
"The sex good?" One of my friends, Carter asks sipping his beer.
"Not explaining to you guys, my sex life with my girlfriend. It's different now. I'm a changed man?" I laugh. I'm being sincere though. Coming back is showing me how much I've grown.
"Well fuck you then, I was gonna take you to the strip club tomorrow?" Carter laughs.
After hours & hours of drinking & remembering on stupid high school memories it was time to head back home.
Chris drops me off, reminding me he'll see me tomorrow.
It's pretty late almost one in the morning, I head upstairs to find Beth laying in my bed on her phone.
"Beth?" I whisper as she turns around with a smile.
"I missed you, so I came to your room to wait." She smiles as she stands up walkimg towards me.
"I missed you too baby." I smile embracing her close.
"You smell like cigarettes & alcohol." She says taking my jacket off.
"Chris took me to this dumb bar. It was cool." I say as she sits my jacket on the dresser sitting me on my bed.
"I'm not drunk?" I laugh as Beth helps me take my shoes off.
"You're not now. But it'll kick in." She smiles as she removes my shirt.
"Cam you stay in here with me?" I ask holding her waist.
"Your mom separated us for a reason." She laughs as I tackle her on the bed.
"At least can we make out, she cant hear that?" I laugh as I grab her face with my hands kissing her lips roughly.
She removes her shirt throwing it on the floor. Before you know it, our bodies are in unison.
