Surprises

I started filming the day I arrived. There was no break. We filmed nonstop for 18 hours. By the time we were done on set I was ushered to my hotel room and given a call sheet for tomorrow. Thankfully I wasn't on it. I collapsed into my bed and shot a text to Jake immediately. Of course he had already texted me. "Can you come home now?"
"Miss you"
"Call me when you're done"
I sighed and hit the call button. He answered in 3 rings. His voice was groggy with sleep and I reveled in the warmth that spread through me when he spoke. "Hey baby. How was filming"
"It was okay I suppose. The directors a nightmare already. I miss you" I said sadly.
"Me too, I couldn't sleep until an hour ago. I just wanted you in my arms"
"I would give anything to be there right now. But this is a dream come true for me. I should go though and sleep. I'm on call tomorrow but not on the sheet thankfully so I'll be sleeping and probably exploring" I said. He was starting to drift off already. I could tell when he spoke next.
"Okay baby. Get some sleep. Night. Love you"
"Night" I said perplexed. Had he just said I love you? It was probably an accident. I bemused before plugging my phone in and turning over to drift into peaceful sleep.

The next day I slept until 3 before I headed out to explore. Shanghai was beautiful. I was in love with it already. We were only here for a week and a half for the opening and the ending of the movie. We were going to Paris next and then to Italy.  I was playing a girl who traveled back in time to stop an evil scientist from killing the majority of the human race during the Victorian era. Shanghai was the opening because my character touches an ancient script written at that time on a stone transporting her through time Until she ended the scientists life. It was a beautiful and exciting story because the girl falls in love with the evil man and convinces him to start his life anew with her in the future only to be ripped from his arms when he vows never to harm a human life intentionally again to be transported back to her time. The ending she finds his gravestone and he was in a memorial labeled "Kindest Man to Live, May his body Rest In Peace wherever it lay" and she weeps at it before she turns around to go home And finds him standing there watching her before embracing her.
My coworker was none other then Austin Sade a very sweet and famous man. We were going to dinner tonight to get to know each other before our sex scene. He made me laugh and we had so much fun.
The next day, I saw it and immediately called Jake.
He didn't answer. I called 4 times before I gave up and left a voicemail. I couldn't breath I was so upset.
"We just had dinner as colleagues please don't be upset and don't believe a word. I miss you. Please call me"
A week passed and I heard nothing before he sent me a text. "Where are you?"
"I'm on my way to my hotel room,"
"Okay"
I opened my hotel room door and there he was! I was so excited I screamed and jumped in his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist and started crying and kissing him.
"I thought you were dumping me!"
"Never. I just wanted to surprise you & if I had talked to you I would have spilled."
"Oh thank god"
We had amazing sex again and again and again until we couldn't breathe. We fell asleep clutching each other fiercely. He woke me around noon. He was dressing himself. "I have to go babe, I have a reading with Lyle Moss"
"Good luck! I'll miss you"
"Me too" he said before planting a kiss on my lips. We wrapped up filming in Shanghai, got to Paris  and then filmed there for a month before heading to Italy for a month. The film wrapped and we threw a huge celebration. Austin & I had become fast friends. I found out he was extremely gay and he was a huge nerd. He was moving to LA so we made plans to get together the day after we got home and have lunch at my place. I got home and slept like I was in heaven. I called the girls but they were busy so I just hung out by myself in my office until my calendar caught my attention. I immediately started counting and hyperventilating. I calmed down and thought thing through logically. There was no way we were so careful. Austin called me an hour later and asked if I needed anything picked up so I squeezed out my truth and he just said nothing. He showed up 10 minutes later carrying the bag discreetly. I hugged him so hard and took them and went to the bathroom and peed on the little sticks. They were all positive. I started crying and he came in and stroked my hair and said nothing until I called myself down.
"What am I going to do? I don't even know if Jake wants kids. He's gonna hate me"
"You will figure it out, it's going to be okay my flower, you'll see."
Jake was gonna be home tomorrow from his movie. I knew what I needed to do, my only fear was would Jake want this baby too?
