"Lost, in your mind"

It's almost like I've been here forever. I've been there for him, for each memory he's made, and each battle he's fought.
"Am I losing my mind?"
Hearing the soft, coarse voice, my optics online. Glancing over my shoulderplating, a large frame slumps at the edge of two small berths, pushed together to easily hold him.
Turning, I vent as I shake my helm. His optics give off the only light in the room, his spark's light softly pulsing. My own simply burn a nonexistent gray, my spark's light dark as I come forward.
"Never let me go"
He glances up quickly, before regrettably staring down at the floor. A small flame of hope begins, just as quickly as it dies as I convince myself he can't see me. Not anymore, he never will again.
"If this night is not forever, at least we are together."
As he falls back to rest on his backstruts, I softly climb beside him. Pressing a servo against his own, it simply fazes through. As a single drop of coolant drips from my optics, it falls through the berth, fading away into the abyss. Placing a shaky servo to lay on top of his spark, it stays, just as I place my other servo over his optics. Letting out a mournful smile, I transfer my memory files to him.
"Anywhere wherever, apart but still together"
I see what he sees, my view of seeing him. The way I adored him, the kind that only happens once in a lifetime. The times we would sneak away to dance under the moons and laugh as if a war wasn't beginning in our home. The days we would share hidden laughs as our optics latched onto one another's. I had convinced myself that I would be beside him throughout all these years, and while I may have failed that, I won't fail this.
"Wanna feel one last time."
I feel his spark shudder as he fades into stasis, watching the images before us. I lean down, wide optics attempting to link onto his own for a source of recognition. Getting none, my lipplates clench together as more coolant begins to form, clouding my vision.
Bringing my faceplate to hover over his, I place a lasting kiss on his helm as I feel myself begin to fade. Placing both servos over his optics, I transfer the rest of my memories over to him, essentially leaving me blank. Unable to comprehend anything else, I place a single message to replay in his helm, each time he opens one of my memory files.
"You are not alone."
