This multi-genre research project is on Asperger’s Syndrome and is to help people get a better understanding of it, not only to understand patients, but others who have people in their lives with Asperger’s Syndrome as well. Asperger’s Syndrome is a common disorder and is easily misinterpreted as just being strange or another disorder completely. That is why it became a great topic for a research project. In this multi-genre project the aspects of Asperger’s Syndrome will be told through a poem, a monologue, a research paper, a collage, a power point, and a video. The poem goes into hypersensitivity of the disorder. The monologue puts in the perspective of bullying that goes with Asperger’s Syndrome. The research paper covers all points of the mental disorder. The collage shows aspects of Asperger’s Syndrome. The power point is covering the major overview of this disorder. The video is about meltdowns from the disorder. Understanding Asperger’s Syndrome helps people who are affected by it, and also help those not affected to realize some people experience the world differently. Having Asperger’s is one of the most common struggles and is one of the hardest to deal with because not many understand Asperger’s Syndrome.
