I woke up to the sound of something clanking together and then screeching. To my dismay I open my eyes to check out the awful sound, just to see a large gate opening, which was the reason for the rusty sound echoing throughout my head.

"Morning." Louis says, before he drives through the gates. There was nothing but trees that surrounds us. The sky had become brighter, like the sun has just started to rise.

"What time is it?" I ask, looking for my phone.

"Just turned four AM, you slept for two hours."

"Only two hours?" I let out a loud yawn. No wonder why I woke up confused.

As we drove through the long driveway, a building towered over the large trees, taking my breath away.

From what I can see over the trees was a tan mansion that had lights shining, making the building stand out from the dull trees and the dark blue sky.

I couldn't take my eyes off the mansion as we slowly pull up. The trees were hiding all the beauty there was to the house. It had steps that leads up to the front doors, with lights on either side of them. A large marble water fountain was in the middles of the driveway, with small bushes around it.

I can make this place my home.

Our car came to a halt behind my other car that Ethan and Noah were driving in. I open the car door and run to look at my car to see if there were any damages on it.

"Eleanor, stay close to me." Louis demands. I roll my eyes and walk away from my car when I see no visible damages to it.

I cross my arms over my body as we walk up the steps of the house with Louis leading the way to the doors. Before Louis could knock the door was swung open, revealing a older woman. She looks to be in her early sixties.

"Uh," I stutter, "I thin-" she interrupts me before I could finish my sentence by ushering us in the mansion.

"Don't be silly, you're the last ones to arrive." She closes the door behind us. To say I'm confused is an understatement.

Me and Louis exchange a confused glance before we look back at the woman.

This woman looks like she's a cat lady, not someone who would involved in Mafia shit.

But if there's anything I've learnt, it's to not judge someone by their cover.

"Oh." I say, before I look around the foyer.

"Follow me into the living room, a few people have been waiting to see you." She informs us, Louis nods and walks behind her. I follow behind him, not wanting to be on my own in this mansion.

She walks through one room into another, but I take a quick glance around the place to notice it was a sitting area. I would have thought this was the living room, maybe we have two different ideas of what a living room is.

Walking through another door, I am greeted with the sounds of a man talking. I look around to notice Alec James, one of my dad's best friends and his wife Tracey.

I haven't seen him since I was a child, just before my mum died however, he doesn't look like he's changed much over the years, the only thing I could notice was that he aged.

"Eleanor!" He yells. Nerves run through me as I haven't seen him for years, he was like a second father to me growing up, then suddenly he disappeared. "Louis!"

The man practically jumps out of his seat and barrels over to us, with his arms stretched out to give us a hug.

"Alec?" I ask, almost like I can't believe my eyes before I open my arms and run into him for the long awaited hug I've missed.
