"Eleanor, do you mind explaining to me how three men that was involved in our attack, have mysteriously died?" Louis asks, walking into Hunter's room, where Hunter lays resting on his bed after being shot.
Luckily for us, the bullet didn't puncher any vital organs and he didn't lose a dangerous amount of blood. All Hunter has to do now is lay back for a week or two, and allow the wound to heel.
We all agreed not to tell our father about Hunter's slip up, in fear he will shoot Hunter himself.
Dad never liked slip ups.
He always saw them as a weakness, something that would kill him.
And our dad was selfish when it came to living.
Even if it meant he had to kill his own flesh and blood.
"I have no clue what you're talking about." I say innocently, playing dumb to his accusations.
I look him in the eye, trying to be sincere but he saw through my façade.
"Eleanor, I specifically told you not to go out and do that." Louis complains, running his fingers through his hair in frustration.
"And I told you, I will get my revenge." I drop my act, knowing it wasn't going to get me far if I lied to him, as he saw right through my first lie.
"You're a good sis Ellie." Hunter gives me a weak smile from his bed.
This boy was so high on medication, I wonder if he actually knows where he is.
"How dare you go against what I say!" Louis yells, pointing his finger at me.
"Don't say stupid shit, then I wont have to go against what you say." I shrug him off.
"This isn't a game ell-"
"I don't see the problem here?" I yell back at him, confused on why he was so angry to begin with. "Those assholes put you all in danger, and yet I'm still the bad guy?"
"She's the bad guy chun-li." Hunters weak voice says beside me, but I brush him off.
"You don't need to solve our problems for us, it's for me and the rest of the guys to handle!"
"Well respond to your problems accurately, that way I wont have to take control of the situation."
"This was never your situation to deal with!"
"Okayyyy?" I roll my eyes at him. "I dealt with it, now what?" I stood up from the chair besides Hunters bed and square up to Louis.
"If you continue to make a mockery of us Ellie, I wont hold back on calling dad."
"Fucking do it then!" I scream, losing control of my anger. How dare he threaten me with my dad.
I storm out of Hunters room nearly knocking into Clarissa on the way out, and slamming the door shut behind me so Louis couldn't follow.
"What happened?" Clarissa asks, concern evident in her voice as she chases me down, and tries to keep up with my speed.
"He's such an asshole!" I complain, making my way from one wing of the house to the other. "Everything I do Is never good enough!"
"Ellie, you're really not making much sense to me right now."
I huff out loud, stopping in my tracks and breathing in the air around me to help stop and maintain my anger.
"Sorry." I look down at my shoes. "It's just-" I let out another huff of air. "I thought I was doing the right thing. I just wanted to hurt the people who hurt Hunter, and possibly could of hurt the others."
