Jimin woke with a groan, his heavy lidded eyes lifting to see a calico cat's face only inches from his own. He threw his legs over the edge of the bed and sat up, contemplating whether or not he would actually choose to stand.

His mother walked into the room quickly, frightened that something had happened to Jimin. He usually wasn't up so early. It took her a few moments to realize that it was the day Jimin started public schooling.

She would sign something like 'good morning' to him before pointing to the shower. Neither of his parents were very good at communicating with their son but they could understand his body language.

Jimin obeyed and got up, heading towards the bathroom.

After a 10 minute shower he changed into an unsaturated pink sweatshirt and black jeans before eating a bowl of cereal in what seemed like 2 seconds.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't excited, because he was. He wanted to be able to socialize, to make friends. For a kid that can't hear anything around him, it's not very easy to make friends.

Without hesitation, Jimin began walking to what he would soon call 'his school.' he ignored the cold gust of soon to be winter air blowing in his face when he stepped out of the door and instead focused on nothing more than going to the right place.

Since he was joining mid-school year, he had to head the the office first. When he was near the door he took out a note card and scribbled down a quick "hello! I need my schedule for the day." And of course he would most likely end up getting what he wants.

Soon a petite lady just a bit shorter than Jimin came up to him. She had recognized him from only a few days ago when jimin and his parents came in to get a feel of the school.

The lady took the note and gave him 2 pieces of paper stapled together. He smiled and tilted his head down as if he was trying to say thank you. He knew that signing wouldn't do much on his part.

He left the office and headed to his locker. The paper said '4 506' and he guessed that that meant the fourth hallway. Luckily for him, he was right. He got to his locker and examined his first few classes on the schedule. His locker was already set up from coming a few days prior so he didn't really have to do anything different from the other kids.

"Hi, are you new here?" The boy that owned the locker next to Jimins asked, frowning when he got no response. "hello..?" When jimin realized that the person next to him was staring at him he frantically grabbed a notebook and a pen.

'hi!' he scribbled down quickly, handing the notebook to the boy. He received a confused look and a series of awakward stares being shot back and forth. Slowly, he brought his hand up to his ear and pointed at it.

His new locker buddy came to a fast reilization and began to take the notebook in his hand to his advantage. 'i'm Hoseok. What's your name?' the boy had pretty handwriting. Jimin liked to appreciate things like that because he basically relied on it.

'jimin.' The younger of the two smiled as he handed the notebook back over. He checked his schedule to see where he would be going first, then taking the notebook back and reading what this 'hoseok' character had said.

'if you have lunch 3 then I would be happy to have you sit by us. I can show you to your classes if you want!' Jimin gave him a thumbs up and waved goodbye as the older wandered off. Jimin grabbed his things and headed to his first class. Math.

As if this day couldn't get any more stressful already, jimin had to go back to his locker and proceed to figure out where the lunchroom is. Suddenly, he was stopped in his tracks by a hand on his chest. He looked up with glossed over eyes, taking a few steps back in suprise as people began to swarm.

His lips moved and jimin just died to know what he was saying. It was so annoying to him that he couldn't understand.

He felt a firm grasp on his wrist. He tried his hardest to pull it away but nothing worked,  soon whimpering as he was shoved against a locker. This was so confusing for him. He didn't know how to respond because.. he couldn't.

Soon a boy that looked about the size of jimin himself came and took the man ready to beat jimin to a pulp away. The boy took this to his advantage, picking up his books and running off to his locker, thanking every single person he could think of in his head.

He scrambled to hurry down to the lunchroom, suprised at the amount of tables in the room. He saw as the boy he remembered before as Hoseok waved to him, signaling for him to come over.

He smiled and did so, receiving a ton of more considerate smiles from what he assumed was hoseoks friends. He was shocked to say the least when they all huddled up and said something in a synchronized manner.

"Hoseok... Who said you were allowed to bring a new kid to our group. We made a pact!" Taehyung said, jumping as yoongi pulled him back. "guys. He's new... He probably dosent really have any friends. Don't you think it would be nice to have a... 7th friend?"

Jimin just stared with his lips slightly parted, his nose scrunching up in disgust as two of them kissed. "namjoon! Jin! Snap out of it! We're having a conversation!" A boy at the end of the table shouted. Jimin couldn't understand what he was saying but when he looked over at him... There was something he hadn't really felt before.

He was goregeous.

Jimins big glossy eyes couldn't help but be glued to this person. He didn't understand why but there was something about him. Jimin took a note card he had in his pocket out from a previous class and began to write on it.

'what are they talking about?' Hoseok laughed and began to write back. 'theyre just being idiots. I can introduce you to everyone if you want?' jimin then nodded, handing the paper and pen back.

'first across from us is Seokjin. He's pretty much the mom of our group. Next to him is namjoon. He breaks things a lot. They're madly in love or some say. Really namjoon just always wants to make out with him. Jin yells at him. Next to them is taehyung. He's a child. Nothing more nothing less. Taehyungs love is next to himself, yoongi. You will never see yoongi eat at lunch. He's either sleeping or drinking coffee here. But it's okay because taehyung takes good care of him. At the end of the table on our side we have jungkook. He's... Very... VERY single. If you ever got the chance to go to his house you'd know. Most of the time hes lounging around in his boxers and eating potato chips or doritos. His Xbox does not turn off. He calls it a sin. He's very cold when you first meet him but he'll warm up to you evantually. That comes to me I guess. I just laugh a lot and I'm very loud so dont mind that. That brings us to you, jimin, what are you like?'

It took jimin a long time to thoroughly read. He could say he appreciated texting way more than writing. 'i don't really know haha. I'm a 16 year old, obsessed with cats, I play guitar, disabled, I'm pretty boring if you ask me. How I got this way was the only interesting thing about me. I fell off a tree trying to impress my mom when I was six.' jimin scribbled down neatly, handing the note back over to Hoseok.

He pulled out another note card from his pocket, knowing that that one couldn't take any more writing. 'i would like you to tell me about this cat obsession and guitar skill.' Jimin noticed how none of their lips were moving anymore and they were all staring and him and Hoseok.

"Why are you guys passing notes instead of talking..? This isn't reading seminar." Hoseok giggled and explained to them as Jimin wrote down his explination. 'i picked guitar up when I was really little. I'm probably not that good though. My obsession with cats started near when I had the accident. Long story. I'll explain one day.'

Hoseok couldn't help but giggle as he read the note, almost missing the bell when it rang. Jimin knew this was going to be a great day.
