My obsession with the movie Mr. Nobody is pretty clear, but there's a movie I love just as much.
Juno.
I swear, it's such a beautiful movie and it's so underrated. Most people shrug it off as like... a smutty movie where a sixteen year old gets pregnant.
But no. It's one where a confused, hurt girl makes a lot of bad choices and finally has the decision to take one terrible occurrence and turn it into something amazing. A movie where, despite all odds, a teenager manages to try to be more than who she was. You know? And ADDITIONALLY, the dialogue is marvelous. Absolutely stellar. Along with the unforgettable characters, you have an amazing movie that should honestly be given SO much more credit.
Ah I just love it.
And partially related, my uncle always calls me Juno because apparently I remind him of her.
