Miss Bustier teaches while Alya cut out the face of a picture of Ladybug. Alya puts the faceless Ladybug over the students' faces to see if any of them could be her.

Miss Bustier: I'm very pleased with how you all did on your last assignment. Some of you have really stepped up, and I do appreciate it. Now it's time to move on to our next assignment.

Alya puts pic over Chloé's face and sees Chloé, pointing at Miss Bustier. Miss Bustier looks at Alya.

Miss Bustier: Is Marinette still in the girls' room?

Alya: Uh, I don't know miss.

Bell rings.

Miss Bustier: Tonight I want you all to read chapter three of the breathtaking France, the First Thousand Years. Then, answer this simple questionnaire.

Miss Bustier gives 2 to Alya.

Miss Bustier: See to it that Marinette receives her homework.

Time skip to outside classroom. Alya is looking for Marinette in the bathroom.

Alya: Marinette?

Teleportation to outside classroom. Alya sees Rose and Juleka.

Alya: Have you guys seen Marinette anywhere?

Rose and Juleka shake their heads, no.

Teleportation. Alya enters locker room and sees Chloé take a ladybug costume and yoyo out of her locker.

Alya: (whispers) Is Chloé ladybug? Hmm.... I gotta investigate!

Teleportation. Chloé goes into her limo and Alya follows her, stopping at the top of the steps. She calls Marinette. It goes straight to voicemail.

Alya: Hey Marinette. Ring me ASAP. We gotta talk.

She sees Nino.

Alya: Nino wait!

Nino: Yeah?

Alya: Come with me, I need your help.

Teleportation. Alya and Nino are sitting on a bench.

Nino: So- (Alya shushes Nino with her finger)

Alya tries to call Marinette again. It goes straight to voicemail.

Alya: Ugh, I hate it when she goes AWOL. She's not calling me back. Where is that girl!?!?

Nino: Seriously, my man Adrien's the exact same way. But I guess you gotta be sly when Mr. Control Freak is your daddy-o.

Alya's phone goes off. Alya looks to see a live feed.

Alya studies her face

Alya: Hmm. . . it seems kinda familiar, those blue bell eyes, those dark blue pigtails, that awkward smile. . . .

Nino: Like Marinette?

Alya: Yeah! I don't think she'd keep such a big secret from me, but it kinda does look like Marinette if you think about it.

Nino: Do you think Marinette could be ladybug? It would make total sense.

Alya: I dunno. . . maybe she is. . . .
