"Blaze. Blaze. Blaze!" Courtney yells to get my attention.

"Sorry, sorry." I say, snapping back into reality.

"Did you even hear what I said?" She asks.

"No." I sigh. "Tell me again."

"Matt asked me to prom!" She says excitedly.

"Aw, congrats!" I cheer.

"Did someone ask you?"

"No. I'm not even going." I tell her honestly.

I don't want to go to stupid prom. Especially without a date.

"Your love interest is coming this way." She sings.

I turn around and see Harry.

"He's not my love interest." I say, sternly.

"Hey." Harry says, sitting down next to me.

"Hey." I say softly.

We talk and talk until lunch is over and this was the first time he sat at my table. I think it went pretty good, Brad and Courtney seemed to like him and he seemed to like them too.

Turns out, Brad got a date to prom as well. I'm the only dateless one out of the group.

It doesn't matter, I'm not even planning on going.

School went by pretty fast for once and I walked home with Brad.

"We haven't done this in a long time." Brad tells me as we walk side by side.

"I know." I say. "And I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry." He says softly.

I nod and we talk about a whole bunch of things. It felt good to catch up with him.

We both spilt ways and went home. I walked in to my mom taking a nap on the couch.

I roll my eyes and get a snack from the kitchen. Then I go to my room to see Harry on my bed.

"Ah!" I scream.

"Boo." He says.

"Why do you always do that?!" I say with my voice raised.

"It's fun to scare you." He says with a smirk.

"It's not fun for me." I say. "What are you doing here?"

"Just felt like stopping by." He tells me, shrugging.

I furrow my eyebrows, nodding to his response. Harry was always a bit strange.

"Well," He walks to my door, turning around. "Bye."

I stood there watching him walk away.
