We created society to move away from our savage nature, but at what point do we become the very thing we formed to destroy. We discriminate based of race, and gender. We slaughter innocents, men, and women with families or without. We kill, steal, and rape within our own society, yet we claim to be civilized. At what point does a society need to end in a favor of a new.
Many today are poor and hungry, and we don't do much about. Society is set up in favor of the rich, automation replaces jobs, yet we're still based on the same monetary system as almost 2000 years ago. We could end simple problems like the homeless problem by, free housing having people work for everything else, clothes, food, and water. Thus eliminating those who live on the streets, and the problems they cause.
Even the fact that we value entertainment more than we value doctors, lawyers, and teachers (the good ones). As a society we focus on the wrong things. We focus on entertainment, riches, and power. What about the people? The people who barely get by on the streets. The people who work 3 jobs and still are struggling to put dinner on the table. The people who watch people die everyday, and are powerless to stop. The people who try to defend the innocent from the oppression they face today. The people who a dying inside because the work so hard, and try so hard to be perfect for the sake of everyone else. What had society done for them? Society has worked against them, because money and power rules the modern day and those without are left behind.
