To no longer abide in the twisted lies which have kept me bound,
and to get out from this fallow ground!
For there is a way for my wretchedness to be left behind,
and it is by a saving grace that I must find!
There is a truth that lays ahead, and a path on which I must go tread!
I will seek this warm nudging tug, and know this hope which will keep me snug!
For it is the comforting peace that keeps me sound, and it is the love that is always around!
For me to enter through this door, and so my heart must be offered before!
For me to fall humbly on my knees, and to cryout to the Prince of Peace!
Led by a steering wind like a dove, and chased by a reckless love!
There is just one thing I know, and there is one place I must go!
To the one in which I owe, and to the one I bow low!
In the arms of my King where I stand, and in the presence of my Lord I now know firsthand!
I am overwhelmed by this love which has no end, and in this love I have come to contend!
Through Him I have become born again, and to this man who I say amen!
How joyful is it that you have found me, and now boldy I can proclaim im free!
