Chapter 3: Annual BBQ

Jayda Gamble:

It's Saturday morning. Today is our annual BBQ, KG and I have to set up. As soon as I woke up, I saw my DJ laying next to me on the bed. He was wide awake watching Nick Jr., but KG wasn't there.

Jayda: "Good  morning baby boy."

DJ: "Good mornin mommy." (sitting up)

Jayda: "Did you sleep well?"

DJ: "Uh huh."

Jayda: "Where's daddy?"

DJ: " Um he's outside for babaque."

Jayda: "Aww okay let's go check on your sisters."

DJ: "Okayyy."

(Goes into the twins room)

Jayda: "Good morning cuties."

DJ: "Goo morning Kaywin and Karwe." (baby voice)

Karlie: "Ma..Mama." (laughing)

Jayda: "Oh...oh my gosh! Karlie what did you say?" (picking up Karlie)

Karlie: "Mama."

Jayda: "Good girl Karlie! I have to tell daddy."

KG: (Standing at the door) "Tell daddy what?"

DJ: "Daddy! Karwie talked" (pulling on KG's leg)

Jayda: "Yeah babe she said mama."(giving Karlie to KG)

KG: "Is my babygirl talking now? Huh?" (tickling Karlie)

DJ: "Goo job Karwie."

Jayda: (changing Kaylin) "I'm So happy."

KG: "Me too." (takes both girls and DJ outside)

Jayda: "Bringing them to see the puppies?"

KG: "Yeah."

(Someone rings the door)

Jayda: "I'll get the door." (goes downstairs and opens the door)

Simone: "Hey."

Jayda: "Hey girl wassup? (hugging) Come in y'all."

Simone: "Nothing much, how's the kids?"

Jayda: "The kids are good...Oh hey prince."

Prince: "Hey whats going on?"

Jayda: "Nothing...KG and the kids are in the backyard with the puppies."

Prince: "Alright cool, babe I'll be in the back."

Simone: "Okay, I'll be there soon."

Prince: "Alright." (blows Simone a quick kiss and left)

Jayda: (sits down with Simone) "So how's life?"

Simone: "Not bad, the baby is due anyday now."

Jayda: "Aww I'm happy for you two...Prince was telling us that you havin morning sickness."

Simone: "Yeah its the worst."

Jayda: "Aww I know...I've been through it twice."

Simone: "Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better."

(door bell rings)

KG: (walks in from outside and opens the door) "Hey!!"
