Chapter 9: Just Another Day at Work

Jayda Gamble:

I was getting ready for work this morning and KG was still sleeping. I went to check on DJ in his room. Today Maloni is coming to take the girls out until I come homw from work.

DJ: "Mommy!"

Jayda: "Morning my baby."

DJ: "Play Mommy." (pulling Jayda's leg)

Jayda: "No sweets, mommy has work."

DJ: "Aww okay( running to parents room) Daddy!!"

KG: "Hey mister, what you want?" (on the bed)

DJ: "Daddy can we go somewhere?"

(Jayda walking in)

KG: "Okay, where to DJ?"

Jayda: "Well Maloni is coming for the girls, so I guess its just you and DJ today." (goes into bathroom)

KG: "Cool (gets up) come on DJ lets get something to eat."

Jayda: "Oh and KG I'm staying at work late today."

KG: "Okay, no problem." (heads down the stairs)

DJ: "Daddy can I have some waffles please."

KG: "Alright hold on let me go let the dogs out (goes in the Patio) Come on you two...go run around, go! (heads back inside) Let me wash my hands."

DJ: (laughing) "Daddy! (pointing down) your feet daddy, look!

(KG has dog poop on his shoe)

KG: "What? (looks down) Oh ugh...okay eww." (takes off shoe)

(KG throws the shoe to the dogs as a toy)

DJ: "Eww daddy."

KG: "Ugh, okay be right back (Goes to bathroom)

(Trisha walks in)

Trisha: "Morning big boy, what you doing downstairs all by yourself?" (kisses forhead)

DJ: "Daddy is in the bathroom."

Trisha: "I see, let me get those waffles for you."

KG: (coming back) "Hey morning Trisha I was coming back to do that. " (laughs)

Trisha: "Thats okay, what I'm I here for?"

(doorbell)

KG: " Okay than...let me go get that."

Maloni: "Hey KG." (come in)

KG: "May."

Maloni: "Where's Jayda at?"

Jayda: (running down the stairs) "Maloni!! You made it....its great to see you again."

Maloni: "Yes, go girl you going to be late for work."

Jayda: "Girl you right (Grabs keys) see you later babe (kisses KG) bye DJ!! (exits)

Maloni: "So KG (getting close) where my girls at?"(laughs)

KG: (moving away) "Upstairs dressed and ready for you."

(Maloni heads upstairs)

KG: "Ugh (places head on the table) I really dont like her Trish."

Trisha: "Well, I don't know what to tell you."(Laughs and grabs DJ's plate)

KG: "You right...well anyways I'm taking DJ today so its just you and the dogs."
