Ocean eyes

Cerulean ocean eyes; deep and filled with void.
An island, isolated from everything else. It was untouched. The biggest mistake I've ever made was voyaging through her stormy sea; adamant to find the treasure that lies within the island.

I was quick to forget who she once was and before I knew it.

I drowned.

Drowning in the nostalgic turmoil that swam in her ocean eyes. With each violent wave,
I fell right back in,
into the cold, fathomless void,
just lifeless on the ocean bed. I tried to stop the storm but god helps anyone who disobeyed Mother Nature.
So there I was, useless, choking on every bit of air I had left.
All because I had fallen in love with her ocean eyes, though I didn't realise I was swimming through uncharted, deadly seas
