Reborn, why?

Well, this is certainly interesting. Only about an hour ago I was in my room reading some fan fiction and listening to the pokemon theme song when I heard gunshots from the living room. Of course, me being the dumbass I am, I decide to run to the living room. I watch as my mother is shot, how her eyes widen in shock and how her body falls on her dead husband's corpse. I turn to look at where the gunshots came from, only to spot a man in dark clothes with his gun pointed at me. I couldn't really make out the face. Out of pure rage, I charge towards him and push him backward, what happened after occurred so fast. As I was pushing him I heard another shot and I sunk his head into the hook where we would sometimes hang things near the door. As I see his eyes lose all trace of life I look down at myself in shock only to see a gaping bullet wound in my chest. I then hear my mother speak those words she hasn't told me in a long time. "Daniel, I love you and I always will. I'm sorry..." Her life is gone now, and mine is soon to go. I close my eyes waiting to go to heaven or hell, or so I thought until I opened my eyes and noticed that... I was reborn.

Hi guys, Dark here. I decided to write this because it was one of my goals since I first ever read fan fiction. The thought of creating my own team and traveling the world of Pokemon has always attracted me. Especially since I grew up with Pokemon, I've seen what could have been a better path for a trainer. I'll be making changes to the characters to adjust them into the plotline so be warned. Oh, and the cover was done by love ya gurl ❤
