Attack at the Museum!

Third person POV 

The following morning Ash was the first to wake up, slowly cracking his eyes open he turned to look at Ciar and smiled. "I promise I'll win this league, for you" he whispered to the sleeping boy next to him. He looked at the clock and decided it was time to get ready.

Once Ash had showered he wrapped a towel around his waist and sat on the edge of the bed. "Ciar, time to get up. The bathroom is unoccupied" Ash informed his soulmate who was still peacefully sleeping. Ash laughed slightly and decided to walk to Ciar's side and suddenly flop on top of him. 

"GAAAAHHHH ASH YOU'RE SO WET, GET OFF I'M GETTING WET TOO" Ciar screamed from the fright and annoyance. Ash merely laughed and nodded towards the bathroom. "Fine fine I'll get up just move, Ash," Ciar said with a groan. Ash smirked and got off. "Alright, I'll meet you at the Pokecenter cafeteria once you are all dressed," he said cheerfully.

Ash and Ciar both walked out of the pokemon center after making sure they had everything on them. Ash raised a hand to his shoulder in order to pet Pikachu and Ciar cracked a small smile. "So the Museum? You sure you're okay with doing this?" Asked Ciar while they were walking down a path.

"Yeah, did you know that the Pokemon League doesn't bother much with Team Rocket because they apparently already integrated themselves deep into the economy and society?" Said Ash letting some irritation show through his voice. "It's dumb really, they have the power of the elite and a Champion and yet they choose not to do anything even if they could just confiscate every valuable asset from them as compensation for the trauma that children and pokemon suffer from their attacks." Ash ranted in one breath while Ciar looked at him in awe.

"Well Ash, I didn't know it was such a big thing going on. Nor did I know you were so passionate about destroying the organization" Ciar said with a slight grin.

"Yeah ever since my dad-" Ash started but got cut off by an explosion coming from the museum "What the.. Let's check that out," he said and we both ran towards the explosion. We saw groups of people some with normal clothes and others in a black suits with a giant red R on their chest. "Team Rocket.. Looks like we'll be saving the day instead eh Ciar?" Ash said and smirked. Ciar nodded and concentrated on making all the pokemon freeze while Ash clouded the grunt's vision with his Aura making them fall to the ground in panic. 

Both pokemon trainers then released all their pokemon. "Knock them all out" Ash and Ciar both said at the same time with glowing eyes. Their pokemon cheered and quickly took down opponent after opponent. Suddenly a glow covered both Caterpies and Ash's Pidgey. Once the glow faded there stood a Metapod, a pink Metapod, and a Pidgeotto. 

"Congratulation guys!" both boys yelled and once every pokemon was knocked out Ciar concentrated on all the Rocket men. Slowly a bead of sweat formed on his forehead and he snapped his fingers making them all fall unconscious.

"T-they are keeping the scientist and researchers hostage in the back room please help them," said one of the receptionists at the front desk. Ash and Ciar looked at each other and quickly made their way to the back of the building slowly cracking the door open. 

"We will take every piece of research and all your Pokemon now unless you want to get hurt!" Yelled a woman with a pink pixie cut. "I am an Admin for team rocket and you will do as I say or else." 

Ash and Ciar's pokemon were listening in and started getting angry. "Alright both Metapod, slip in and attach yourselves to the ceiling and slowly make your way behind the Admin. There should be more grunts in there keeping the hostages passive. Be careful. Pikachu there should be a fuse box.. Right there. Go feed on it until the lights go out at my signal. Pidgeotto, with your speed, quickly cut the hostages free using peck and the rest help us battle against the rockets." Ciar quickly said. They all nodded. Pidgeotto and the Metapod couple quickly slipped in and stationed themselves behind the admin. Pikachu ran to the fuse box and the rest waited. 

"And NOW!" Ciar yelled and both boys activated their powers. Ciar to locate the grunts and Ash to see in the dark. Pidgeotto quickly cut the hostages free and the Metapods dropped on the admin's head after they used harden before using their string shot to tie her up. The grunts were quickly taken care of by Ciar and Ash using their powers. The pokemon were battling fiercely until the enormous Pidgeotto used a mix of twister and gust to defeat the pokemon around the room and pile them into a corner.

"Pikachu! Lights on!" Screamed Ash and the lights instantly returned while a small mouse pokemon dashed inside and cheered.

"Put your hands where we can see them!" Both boys quickly turned towards the door and saw Officer Jenny with other policemen and their pokemon out. One of the researchers stood up and waved toward the Jenny. 

"It's okay officer, these trainers saved us. We are very grateful" he said and both boys smiled. "It was nothing. Officers you might wanna cuff 'em" Ciar said nodding towards the knocked-out and bound grunts and admin. 

The officers were quick to take them and the only ones left were Ciar and Ash with the researchers and scientists. "Do you know why they needed your research?" Asked Ash. The same researcher shook his head" I'm Stan, short for Stanley. I assume they wanted to resurrect the Old Amber we were studying. We finished all our research and we were getting ready to send it to a lab for resurrection. We were gonna try and see if we could use a ditto to breed the female Aerodactyl that is inside since most fossil pokemon can't breed and we don't have another Aerodactyl to breed it with. Actually, would you mind doing it? It would be a great help. A bond between a trainer and its pokemon may help it become tame and hone its instincts." He said holding up a Pokeball. 

Ash blinked and nodded taking the Pokeball. "This is ditto right?" He asked and the researcher nodded "The Old Amber will be sent to resurrection and will then be sent to you via pc. Should take a few days" he said and pointing towards Ciar. Ciar nodded and grinned. "Cool! We'll make sure to take notes on our dexes"

The researcher quickly thanked them and wished them safe travels until next time. 

The team quickly made its way into the pokemon center at the base of Mt. Moon for a days rest.
